Hello!

I'm about a week old to the site or so @u@ Only just realized now that there's a whole forum section for intros. I'm a freelance artist and animator. I also comic to keep up sequential skills.

I make a comic called 2-Sided Cassette and I hope to continue updating it for years to come QuQ <3 ts a comic about two kids that go through school together in the 90s and early 00s. Based off of my own personal experiences. Kinda looks like storyboards for an old anime. There isn't much yet, but soon!

Nice to meet people on Tap! I was influenced to join by a friend and the site and app look very sleek. Its very refreshing. I don't have a reading list quite built up just yet. BUT I WILL. There are soo many comics on here its unreal. @____@ Must read ALL. I don't really have a preference in comics as long as I can have a good read.

Hope to find topics (and comics) about music, awesomeness and possibly help people with visa questions (like tourist/settlement). As I'm currently on my second visa and I know the internet doesn't have a very good outlet for research.

Anyway, hope to become a part of the community as a regular. ouo

welcome! I practically never leave these forums, so you'll probably see me here a lot. I post my comic, AM, on the main site, and i am a huuuge music head. i write and draw AM while listening to my massive collection of post-rock (greatest music genre imo), so things get, well, thought-provoking to say the least. im currently a full-time student, so comics are just a "hobby" for me right now

Hello. Quirky username you got there thought I'm one to talk myself my name being a portmanteau of Toad and "toaster oven". I'm Toad-Sta-Ovn, creator of the shoujo inspired slice of school life comic called Life of an Aspie, a comic with a female lead with Asperger's Syndrome (kinda like having autism). The art is nothing to write home about, but the story I (and quite a few of my subs) feel has something going for it. I hope you get as much from Tapastic and our wonderful little community as much as you put into it.

Hello TennaShoe and welcome to the forums. I'm just in the middle of your comic and liking it so far. I think you captured that 90-00's feeling pretty well and the art is lovely.

What it's like to work as freelance animator? I'm asking because I'm seriously considering on getting a degree out of it after I finish my current major. It'd be great to hear experiences from someone, who's working on the field already

If you want to try out some mystery genre I have two comics on that radar. Numb is my major project, about Levi who gets into accident when trying to help someone who, in everyone else's opinion, wasn't even there. It's is still in a bit starting out pace story wise, but there'll be new page every week to fix that. Little tales on the other hand is collection of short stories, that updates more randomly.

Depends. Some jobs are really nice and some are not so much. The company also makes a huge difference. There's so many different jobs within just animation alone. Its just like any other job type, cept you're drawing. xD

I'd say the downside to it is you have less energy to draw afterwards, because you've already been drawing all day. Building up the stamina to draw beyond the 8 hours is a bit of a challenge.

Now that I'm on a day off, I can actually do as I mentioned and read through all that posted here. xD
