Hello!

I'm a freelance animator and artist. I graduated from AiC with a bachelor's in Media Arts and Animation. I've worked on a few mobile games and have helped out some businesses, but most of the time, doing random stuff for random people.

I like music and I travel a lot.

I've only gotten some slight hate in the past, but there's a few people that have repeatingly told me off for some things. -My handwriting -How I draw faces -How messy the comic is -Someone literally told me off for 'attacking' a children's show that "wasn't for my age group" I had to delete the c…

To change it up, I'm going to go with yes. I learned this talent once, I can learn it again. I'm assuming this thing is talking about just losing your hand coordination. I lost the ability to draw with my dominant hand when it was casted, my non dominant hand learned what to do real fast. So, even…

I had a penpal in New York (I was in Montana) for a couple years in.. 5th grade and part of 6th. It was really strange hearing about the city from a single individual. In oldschool chat rooms, you didn't really talk about where you were from as easily, or you didn't know if it was true. Everyone h…

Somehow the whole earning per month thing reminded me... You gotta add a whole new form of taxes once you start making money off of your art. I think the amount starts at 200 or 500$ for that year. So if you did make 100$ total for your junior year, I don't think you have to file taxes. But once …

This. Most creative jobs are like that. Even things like theater. Even the most steady contract freelance still can result in just being temporary. Making a living off your art is a stretch, but you can most certainly do it part time much easier than full time. If single. +1 to business knowle…

It was slight sarcasm because lottery, luck and magic were involved. xD

Woaaaah that's really awesome! I'm still making through new subs to get o read yours u but man, this preview of it is rad! Congrats! Must be so weird holding it in your hands @_@ I'll never forget the first time I bought a comic I only knew digitally in a physical format.

@PixyByte Alil surprised by the lack of tips. Anyway. I've been doing freelance for 10 years, most actively for the last 3. Find your audience. I don't recommend doing the facebook sharing with friends and family thing. That's what you do when you're doing it as a hobby. Unless your FB is full…

Wait. So like a whole 'Series' just for cool lil illustrations or behind the scenes? u I thought about using my feed for that, but I realize over time, things will fall into obscurity the more I post.

All that's really changed for 2-SC is that I started working at a different resolution and a different tablet. xD I dunno. My skill level changes based on what I wind up doing freelance wise. [image]

Oooo, gonna have to go through these. I won't post all rock, as I listen to most things. Obscure stuff? Sometimes people just manage to miss something with more views that's really good. Or something that was popular ages ago and fell out of significance.I wouldn't call things completely obscure, …

I agree with this idea. Create swatches for each character and each background setting and maybe a "time of day" overlay color. This way, there's way less to think about when coloring. Even though I do grayscale, I try to only pick 2-3 shades of gray per page/per setting. If I used the full rang…

Yes. I would do a page a day if I could, but commissions come first. Dx Nuuu! Well, I imagine that could create some pretty boss art too.

@United_cuttles I'm just messin, xD I'm sure you are Its just on profile, it looks like your avatar is lurking in shadows

@gnekomikero That title sounds awesome, gonna check it out xD And thank you! ;v;

@niinasalmelin Yeooo Thank you! Depends. Some jobs are really nice and some are not so much. The company also makes a huge difference. There's so many different jobs within just animation alone. Its just like any other job type, cept you're drawing. xD I'd say the downside to it is you have less…

The beauty of webcomics or comics in general is its pretty cool when this happens. (also happens in long running cartoons) Normally its over a longer period of time, because we change as artists and that means our comic changes. If it didn't it'd be tough to see artistic growth, which is always re…

There is egg in the title, so I'm intrigued. I'm very curious as to what "The Bouncy Egg" has to offer.

Sup @iamABLE ! Thank you so much! I take pride in expression, as its my job to, but I'm glad it spills into my personal work <3 And that is also the honor of honors! I think I might just printscreen this comment for the corkboard of awesome Looking forward to this comic's launch!

@christinaeliz violence doesn't bother me as much, so I'll defo check it out on a work break! Thanks for checking out my comic and for the rad comment. Also, rad avatar too! BD

@Toad_Sta_Ovn Yours is so clever though! Omg, a shoujo... I will defo check that out. Always a fan of that flowy art goodness. ouo <3 Looks like I'll also be learning about health conditions, which will be a huge plus. thanks for the recommendation!

@United_cuttles _cuttles Your avatar look scary I dunno man. xD Hugs seem dangerous. Thanks! I'll take a look soon!

@azureXtwilight gasp Omg. Hello! <3 Fancy seeing you here. xD

@jonno Oooo a post-rock junkie D< Will be great hearing some recommendations. Need to find the music threads. Like "comic themes". Nice to meet you too! sn: Thanks : D Will take a look at your comic soon when not at work. xD

+1 for Clip Studio Paint Its versatility is not easy to ignore. There's tutorials and downloadable addons. I think at one point I got 300+ brushes for 7usd.

Too busy getting paid to make art that isn't my comic. Need for sleep. Daily workouts. Someone else said taking a day not to draw cause of workaholic. I do this and I spend the day just going outside or working out longer than normal. Or being social outside of calls/media.

Hello! I'm about a week old to the site or so @u@ Only just realized now that there's a whole forum section for intros. I'm a freelance artist and animator. I also comic to keep up sequential skills. I make a comic called 2-Sided Cassette and I hope to continue updating it for years to come QuQ <…
