welcome! I practically never leave these forums, so you'll probably see me here a lot. I post my comic, AM, on the main site, and i am a huuuge music head. i write and draw AM while listening to my massive collection of post-rock (greatest music genre imo), so things get, well, thought-provoking to say the least. im currently a full-time student, so comics are just a "hobby" for me right now

Hello. Quirky username you got there thought I'm one to talk myself my name being a portmanteau of Toad and "toaster oven". I'm Toad-Sta-Ovn, creator of the shoujo inspired slice of school life comic called Life of an Aspie, a comic with a female lead with Asperger's Syndrome (kinda like having autism). The art is nothing to write home about, but the story I (and quite a few of my subs) feel has something going for it. I hope you get as much from Tapastic and our wonderful little community as much as you put into it.

Hello TennaShoe and welcome to the forums. I'm just in the middle of your comic and liking it so far. I think you captured that 90-00's feeling pretty well and the art is lovely.

What it's like to work as freelance animator? I'm asking because I'm seriously considering on getting a degree out of it after I finish my current major. It'd be great to hear experiences from someone, who's working on the field already

If you want to try out some mystery genre I have two comics on that radar. Numb is my major project, about Levi who gets into accident when trying to help someone who, in everyone else's opinion, wasn't even there. It's is still in a bit starting out pace story wise, but there'll be new page every week to fix that. Little tales on the other hand is collection of short stories, that updates more randomly.

Depends. Some jobs are really nice and some are not so much. The company also makes a huge difference. There's so many different jobs within just animation alone. Its just like any other job type, cept you're drawing. xD

I'd say the downside to it is you have less energy to draw afterwards, because you've already been drawing all day. Building up the stamina to draw beyond the 8 hours is a bit of a challenge.

Now that I'm on a day off, I can actually do as I mentioned and read through all that posted here. xD
