I am currently working a comic, and it is about an artist and wrter teaming up to write a comic. It is also a romance, and all the main and side characters are creators, like one is an animator and one is a musician.

It's not clear by your question if you want to do an informative comic (like tutorials, etc) or a story that is about a comic artist/writer. I going to assume it's the second, so...

You'll really want to appeal to the artistic community, so make sure you have a lot of relatable scenes. Like struggles that all comic makers have, as well as successes. But I would make sure that there's a backstory that's not directly about writing comics, like a romantic interest, some kind of rival, etc. That gives you a lot more content you can use to stretch your story out longer, an add some drama/excitement to it.

There are some anime/manga that have themes about making comics that you could check out for inspiration. "Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun," "Bakuman," and "Comic Party" are a few that come to mind.

If you don't know how to make a good comic about something and need to ask other people how to...maybe it isn't the best thing for you to make a comic about?
Perhaps you should make something where you know you can make a good comic about it because you're bursting with ideas about the topic, know a lot about it and have experienced many interesting scenarios in your time doing that thing?

Agreed. Simply having a concept isn't enough. especially if you need others to tell you how to go about it, the fact this is about a group making comics and animation ect... You may not have accumulated enough experience for the story you might have in mind.

The Mangas about characters making manga/anime is because the author has either a wealth of knowledge of the subject matter or first hand experience.

In short, to answer your question: "How do I write a good comic about making comics?" Get experience making comics.

I wish you luck and all the best!

Definitely check out Bakuman! It's a manga about writing manga. You can make plot arcs about the troubles one goes through from starting a comic, it's definitely good if you already had past experience making a comic, dealing with an audience, and publishing. You can make the problems you face into really interesting obstacles too, such as popularity (or the lack of thereof), competition, and gripes with stress and your life and balancing that out with making comics.

This is where the writer in you comes in. You can change and embellish parts so they form a story and is entertaining.
