In webcomics, perfectionism can and will lead to severe burnout. In keeping up with a posting schedule, something's gotta give. It's either your mental health, the comic, or perfection.
I put off starting River City for so long because I had it in my head that it HAD to be perfect. And once I started working on it, that slowly went away. And I discovered something interesting. Once I let go of that attitude, my art improved astronomically. I loosened up, stopped worrying about every little detail, and it actually got better.
Like so many other said: done is better than perfect.
