One of my characters is based on a cat I used to have, Cholmondeley. To save on confusion he's been renamed 'Chumley' for the cartoon strip.
A lot of the names in my story are pretty straightforward since they're mostly slav names because the countries my mains are from have their languages based off balkan languages. (I just wanted to flex that I'm fluent in a language that uses cyrillic so it had to be done.) Slavic words and names are spelled exactly the way they are said, so there's rarely any confusion unless you're a foreigner and you don't already know what sounds those letters are supposed to make.
So as a slav I'm actually quite surprised to see you using Ognjen as a name, @Cavechan! In my country that name is just Ognen, without the "y" sound. (I went to school with a guy with that name and he was a total ass, but I digress lmao) My country is one of the only two besides Russia that uses cyrillic, the other being Bulgaria, and it's actually the most simplified of all the balkan languages I think. We do use a lot of "serbisms" though, which are words and phrases that are literally just serbian. They're not even our language. We just use them instead of using the actual words that we do have.

The country Raz and Jakob were born in is called Lethyr (kinda like leather but the th sound has a lot more stress), but because it's supposed to be my country's language the native name for it is Letirija (Le-TEE-ree-yah) [Летирија].
Most of these I feel are straightforward and you don't need any help with them, it's just pronouncing them with the slav accent that's hard lol. Fun fact: my middle name is Anastasija [Анастасија], but instead of pronouncing it Ana-STAY-zha it's Ah-nah-STA-see-yuh.
One of my comics the lead character's name is Jonee Von Bon
read as that no two way to read it.other characters like Irus (e-ru-s it's the name of the Iris flower in Hebrew)
A character from another comic of mine is Dr. Mamaliga. as in the romanian polenta like dish.
Since my current comic's character's names are super easy to pronounce (they're all names you're bound to have seen IRL since it's a comic that takes place in this world) I'm gonna do my other planned comic:

Thana Tossa -- like Thanatos, the God, but with an A at the end

Good names that belong to the medieval times! "Erena" may sound like it can be used in modern times, but still- good names.

@andrew17: So, you called your character "Chumley", huh? What happens if I call your character, "Chum"? Like, "Come here, Chum!". But to be honest, Chumley is a quirky but cool name.

Nearly the same name is used in that country, too?! Besides the point, "Razimyr" sounds enthusiastic when you say his name in a foreign accent. So that's Natalija with a silent J? Beautiful name. Now, Nisha... that reminds me of a girl with nearly the same name on a TV Show called "Chuck's Choice". And for a joke... Marco! Polo! 
@droidmonkey1: The proper pronunciation of Irus could take some getting used to, but good meaning behind the name. So, your main character's name is pronounced "Johnny" (I searched it up), right? I always associate "Johnny" as a boy's name, but "Jonee" is an acceptable name at it's best.
@azzy-m: Excellent galactic names, but what are Far and Arin named after? Just curious.
I thought it was always Eeyore! Jokes aside, you get a like for your characters' names.

@joannekwan: Good, simple names from you. Some of the names you gave your characters already sound beautiful! "Hadi" sounds close to "Heidi". Silent C for Schuler, right? Because, often I would joke that Schroeder's name from Peanuts would be pronounced SCROLL-der; Even that name has a silent C.
Chum's OK. It's a synonym for 'friend' or 'pal'. But it's also a brand of dog food. I chose the name 'Cholmondeley' for my cat because he was a British Blue kitten and I wanted him to have a name like a public schoolboy. His sister was 'Smudge' so their names worked quite well as a pair.

My characters from Vernajja have names with double consonants and my characters from Jaeda have more vowels.
Rekki Lune - Rekki rhymes with Becky (you'd think it'd be easy but I've heard all sorts of weird ones over the years like "rekku" and "reiki" 
.) Lune is pronounced like...well, like the French for moon or the river Lune in Lancashire, so "Loon". Rekki is actually short for Elrekia, which is pronounced "El-reck-ee-a".
Sarin Aoki - Sarin is unfortunately pronounced exactly the same as the nerve gas of the same name (a thing I wasn't aware of when naming the character, it's just... it's her name now). "Sa" like in Sam, "rin" like in "Ringo". Aoki is a Japanese surname that might be a little tricky for some people. Say "Ah, okay". Now change it to "Ah, Oki" Now say it like it's one three-syllable word with evenly weighted syllables (sorry I have a pet hate and it's English speakers over-stressing the middle syllables of Japanese words). Ah-oh-ki.
Urien Ellis: Urien is probably pronounced differently depending on your country, but for consistency I assume the English pronunciation: "Yoor-ee-en". Ellis is a pretty common English surname pronounced "El-iss"
Fae*
They're not named after anything! The characters with space names are actually a part of this super powerful group of people named Celestials (that's the name of the actual comic, Celestials, lmao) so the naming pattern is only for them. Fae and Arin are not Celestials and are just normal people (or aliens, Earth doesn't exist in that world), so their names don't follow that pattern, just included them since they're the protagonists and might have difficult to pronounce names.... if it makes sense, haha.
