Answer yours below! I'm curious to hear how far people are into their comic.

For me, I'm 23 out of 196 pages of script into my comic (124 pages) so I'm about 11% through right now. It's taken around 11 months to get there, so I'm very happy with my progress :hype_01: Although this does mean it'll take a good while to complete the comic :sweat_02:

Currently, I'm predicting I'll have 14 total episodes, and am currently working on the scripts for episodes 10, 11, and 12. I currently have 9 episodes up, which took just over a year to get to.

Also each episode is 18 - 25 pages. And counting up the exact page count, I currently have a total of 209 pages.

I'm on track to finish drawing chapter one about two years after I started (if you factor in some slack for really rough weeks where I didn't draw), resulting in 7 pages of prologue, and probably around 100 pages of chapter content.

I suspect chapter two will be a similar length, which will probably take me another two years, considering the rate at which I work.

I have rough plans for a minimum of 5 chapters.

...I'm tired just thinking about it.

My comic MAOR is currently at 63~66% of 1st act, which is just 1 of 6 acts for a full-fledged story. 92~93 pages at done. (not counting side/bonus chapters) It takes me 2 years and a few months (includes hiatuses) so far.

I am still in the first chapter, I manage to finish the prologue which is a total of 57 episodes.

I have an idea of how the story will go but it will be so long it might as well be volumes. So far, the MC is still a child which means I am still in a long way to get to the end.

The first chapter is now in its 28th page and I think this chapter will be longer than the prologue.

For my main one, after 4 years I'm around... 1/3 of the planned story 'xD, for the second one, I know how I want to end it, I've got some stuff I want to put in the middle but have yet to decide how long this middle part will be - that one has been going for 3 years, and the last one - 2 years old, I've got 20 chapters and plan to do 2 more major ones and some fluff inbetween and be done with this series.

I'll say I'm near the end of session one which is around 25 episodes. took me like since late feburary so um.. months?

Demon's Nook itself is supposed to be around 4-5 sessions. So around 1/4 or 1/5 done.

I do plan to get an editor when its fully done to edit it for me to release as an e-book and redraw all the art work. But for now I'll say it may take 2 years to finish so I'm optimistic

I have been working on Crow's Worth on and off for the last 8 years. I am currently at 275 pages (including cover pages and extra). Despite having more plots planned, I sort of want to wrap up the series in the next two chapters. The comic never got much traction and also part of me wanting to just move on to something else. When I first started the series, my original goal was 200 pages but I ended up overhauling the whole series so that is why it is way past that.

1 1/2 books into a 5 book series. Each series is 25-35 episodes.

Chapter 2 of 26 and it has been 2 years hahah :skull_crossbones: If I had an assistant I could whip em out faster I'm sure (thoughts of the future).

Though to be fair I do mini-comics on the side and short stories so like I got my main boo that's long-term and side piece flings that give me a Lil spice from time to time.

After almost 6 months, 55ish pages in and one and a half chapters done, unless I miscounted. As for an exact number, that's maybe 3-5% of the total story? It's going to be very, very long lol.

the script is finished and my partner is editing it up for me right now
Art wise I'm 2/3rds done with act 1
and almost 2 years
so I think I'm making a pretty decent pace

We just finished the arc for the second to last season finale, "The Hand". We got 34 episodes finished. I plan on working on the prologue for the next arc and the next chapter. Shocked that we finished Season 1 that fast, even Burd was like "Wha" when I told him the amount of time we've been working on the comic.

Happy I got five episodes of the dub finished. We plan on doing 10, but I might extend it to the Dodgeball Arc. We got an animation cooking and I'm currently editing a YouTube tie-in.

GRINDSET son.

I've published roughly 500 pages, 33 episodes in 3 years. I'm roughly half done

I have 12/15 stories complete for Arc 1. There should be about 7 arcs in total, but I think 1 is going to be the longest, at least I hope so, since it took ~4 years to get to this point.

3 chapters out of around 20. In about three years... It's gonna be a while ;_;

Honestly wouldn't know page count since I fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to how long a scene will be. Chapter wise I'd say I'm maybe about 60% done, started drawing the first page in 2015, first post was in 2016 so it's been almost 7 years since I started. I won't lie that I'm really slow given my medium, it would be nice to finish within 5 more years, but that may not happen given some rl stuff is coming up that may put my project on a hiatus for a while. Really sucks since I just want to finish it.

Almost 5 chapters in and a fourth of the way through, and I've been working on it since 2018, so 4 years. I honestly would be farther but I went back and redrew my 1st chapter. In terms of pages it's only about 120 to maybe 140 pages done and about 70 episodes. I have a lot left to do, since the full story is supposed to be about 20 chapters.

I'm on my final season/ arc of my novel! It's taken me... over a year (almost two years now) to get to this point :joy: I'm still writing, but with school and internships, I haven't found the time to work on it these days... Hopefully I'll be done by the end of this year?

On chapter 7 so more then half way through arc 1 which is the shortest arc so far. So prob only about 20% if even that much

It's coming onto the 5th year anniversary next year so we're excited to get to chapter 8 by then

Honestly I started this comic with full knowledge it's gonna be about 16 years 🥲 that's ok tho! The journey is the important part ~

I have writen 164 pages of my script and that's maybe 1/2 of my story? I don't know how long it'll be, it always get bigger as I write xD I've finished the 54th last week, it took me 2,5 years (accounting little hiatuses), yeah, I'm not the fastest.

I'm producing the 8th issue right now, so I'd say I'm about a quarter to a third of the way through Heaven Hunters so far, and have finished 176 comic pages as of today. Not including preproduction or concept art at all of course. I started releasing it in 2020, so I think I've been going for about 2 years now, but it really started in 2017 when I started writing it.

I'm like in the very very beginning and I'm almost at the inciting incident and I feel like it's taking foreverrrrr but it's only been 5 months :sob:

Finished one series and only just done with second part of my other series, working on the third/final part of it. Can't make any promises when it would be completed through.

Around 4 chapters, 3 COMPLETE STORY REVISIONS, and 5 years.
And I just thought of a new story that interests me 10x more. I might just leave this one in the "One Shot Limbo", for now.

I'm currently working on DoVM (Oct. 1810 to Nov. 1813) and I have to say that I'm currently working on February to March 1811. Otherwise, I finished four out of twenty-six chapters.

Meanwhile, I already finished writing DoVM (June 1809 to Sept. 1810) but the update progress is nine out of thirteen (if you exclude the miscellaneous episodes and the epilogue), but all of its chapters are 16.

Overall, twenty out of forty-one chapters are completed, or should I say 49% of it are done if I combined both 1809 to 1810 and 1810 to 1813.

The story I want to tell is big. Split into three trilogies. I'm around 1/3 of the first book of the first trilogy... give or take.

I'm still in the early phases of my novel despite having only 19 chapters which I started in May. I know that I have a long way to go.

TOB is about 70k words in. I estimated for it to be 90k words but I think it is going to be closer to 130k words. I would say just over half way done.

I'm about 300 comic pages in, with maybe... 3 chapters left? So maybe 70% done. It took me around 2.5-3 years to get here.

Of course... I didn't actually start with a set story, so part of that length is on me. But the purpose of the comic was to learn how to make comics, so I'm actually overall rather happy . It's the longest I've worked on any creative project. I'll count it as quite a success to finish and move on to my next one.

Congrats on the progress!

Since my comic is still so new and im still a new artist Im 6 episodes in, 8 if we include my hiatus update then q+a, and its taken me about 3 months to get this far

I've started to create my story almost 10 years ago, and I'm proud that no matter how complicated it looked and how frightening it seemed, I didn't gave up. I would remind myself each time why I do it, what I believe I have in my hands and if I can share it with the world, I will create truly what I wanted, I can change the world. I still have many obstacles to go through. Language barrier. Money/Financial support and transition from drawing into writing. But, I'll make it. I improve everyday.

It's only on it's first chapter and it's going to be a long and exciting run - https://tapas.io/series/The-Spirit-In-Me-/info1

Thank you very much!

I'm almost done book one of my series but I'm going back to fix up some stuff with my story before continuing

30 chapters, a clip over 20,000 words now. Quite a bit to go. So very roughly 500 or so published words per day (started publishing August 5th).

I'm 6 out of 22 for my new story~
It took me 2 months since I updated every 10 days. The storyline is completed, though. I just need to make them into a comic. :sob:
