Yeah...kinda! XD, but we still make our stories bold and awesome!

Pfffft hahaha that deadline is coming up fast isn't it? I'm not stressing or anything...

I had an initial roadblock where I completely changed my original idea into something new, so I've been doing more headcanon work than actual writing. Plus I got really sick and that's been a... super pleasant experience....

I still want to at least qualify, though! Especially since an artist friend of mine really helped spread the word about the contest for me

I'm at a grand seven episodes right now sigh

I am at 57 chapters, or 80.000 words total ^^

The main themes in my novel are kindness, psychological trauma, overcoming and unconditional love and I guess technically BDSM too.

13 episodes. I largely forgot it was for a contest and ended up just casually writing it. Guess I'm lucky the deadline was so far away.

I finished it (and another story, though I had to choose one of the two for this contest...still not convinced I chose right) in November (NaNoWriMo). The latter half still needs editing.

You're almost there! That's good! And simple themes are good themes--that's why the original Star Wars Trilogy has such wide appeal~!

Man, I'm sorry your mental health took a dip! I know how that sucks! That being said, I really hope you push yourself to finish~! <3

The introductory episode. (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)

I took an unexpected two month hiatus. Good thing I'm still on winter break.

Currently on a short break from my writing session. At least I finished outlining the necessary episodes. Currently creating buffers for my plan of daily double updates for a week in an attempt to meet the minimum. (need 14 more episodes, it’s so sad that it’s funny lol)

If it doesn't work out then the important thing is that I wrote something, which was the goal with writer's camp as an external motivation anyways.

Doesn’t have any consistent themes considering it’s a collection of short stories. But what I’m hoping to explore with this story is settings because although all the stories take place in the same world, they all happen at different times and different places, effecting culture and circumstances. ( ´ ▽ ` )

I’ll probably go back and rewrite everything after writer’s camp though. I don’t believe my rushed writing to be that great considering writing doesn’t come easy to me.

I only made it to 17 episodes, but I ended up planning the whole thing out ^^

As for themes? Hmmm... Friendship, Man vs Self, and a little bit of Man vs Society

My project was never intended be a contest entry, so I am not feeling pressured by a deadline at all. Yay for lowered expectations! I was instead creating parodies from volunteered chapters by other Tapas creators. I ran out of volunteered materials and ended up not using one episode that I wrote, so the project is short. At least it is a project to which I can always add more material later.

Sidenote: I did finish rough draft my card game rulebook though.

Yeah, how are you feeling now, Minerrale? I think we all felt concerned when you read this.

@aaladadonis, you are correct. The fact that you wrote something is the most important fact. As for rewriting it, my philosophy is that good literature is edited, not written.

I'm a little better, at least I can now talk and write, although walking like a granny... I'm seriously considering investing in a fancy cane XD Thank you for your concern, it means a lot to me.
I'll be fine, my therapist said it was the setback from too many traumas and I can well believe it, but my state at least isn't permanent (and it gives me a looooot of new material for Abby's Hope, so all good!)
Hope you all are having fun with your stories, and maybe even with mine, which I promise will reach the requirements no matter how hard it is!

Truth be told, I joined just to see if I can write, never wrote a thing in my life.

The theme is.... maybe love and equality.

I can't even say the theme. I am at episode 23

I'm currently at 42 episodes, I will post a few more before the deadline, but I'm pretty happy with the number so far since I was working on 3 other projects at the same time. Good luck to anyone who is rushing to meet the deadline and congrats to everyone who met the requirement! :tada:

I made it to 55 episodes, though I took a big break over the holiday period just because real life got kind of crazy. I was meant to spend it editing, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Hopefully I'll find time over the next few weeks to fix at least typos and stuff. Fingers crossed....

Themes: Identity and Duty vs Individualism (and I guess Monarchy vs Republicanism as well?)
