It's good you are honing your craft at a young age, I didn't start to look at my comic and say "Wow that looks good" until 2011.

Congratulations on anniversary of your comic. Comic and animation seem to search one major thing in common, they both require an understanding of how thing move. I also watched one of your videos on YouTube, it was quite insightful.

Ive been drawing bad comics since 5th grade. But Ive started drawing comics online for about 2 months.

Congratulations on the 5 year milestone. I remember I did two comics back in 2009 and it really helps relieve the burnout if you work on one comic for too long. I recently made a parody of comic Seishin Patona, entitled Seishin Patona Parade to go alongside it.

I decided to get serious about 4 years ago. I started working on something called the Vyken Legends for a year and half. Then I made the tough call to start over and make what is now Vast Blue. http://tapastic.com/series/VastBlue

Thank you =D Oh yeah with my last comic it felt like I was creating the same comic over and over and over that is when I decided I needed to step back and re work it. Then Creepie Ellie came to mind and I am doing it right this time =D

I left comics back in 2006 to focus on a music carreer, then in fall 2012 I came back slowly building up collabs and working for free, in 2013 I got my first paid gig and been working semi professional since then.

for me about two months and a half, it has been a learning experience mostly. But I have met some really cool people on here and I hope to find some more.

As an "amateur", I started spending my days drawing when i was about 4-5 years old, because of all the french comic and manga and anime I used to eat 24/7. And it got worse during my teenage years, when I became obsessed with the manga by CLAMP xD

Then I drew some comics for artschool (pretty much the only class where I had good grades haha!), made some tests for the TRON comic series published some years ago (2004 I think?), and got my first pro job in 2005 on Serena Valentino's and Ted Naifeh's comic series, GloomCookie.

It was such a dreamjob, I'm crazy about that series, but when it ended I felt like I was too young and not good enough for it... so I kinda went away from comics for a bit, just playing around, learning then drawing very short stories to see if I was improving.

And now I'm back to being serious again, hence my first webcomic here ^^ I'm still terrified whenever I post a new page, but sharing Purple Boudoir here has been fantastic so far thanks to the amazing people here <3

"seriously"... hm, when i was 12 i heard about comic competitions, and i wanted to get so much better so i could submit my entry and win something. to be honest, that dream hasn't really left me yet, but i also think about lots of other stuff, so yea..

at the moment i just draw comics for fun, and if i get the courage to it, i might enter a competition some time in the future:)

My brother also writes his own music. You are almost the combined version of me (the comic artist) and my brother (part time composer).

I used to make this very shonen manga inspired sketch comic during middle school, all my real-life friends where the characters, looking back it was so dorky lol. It was fun to work on and it got really long too XDD but it wasn't anything serious, only my friends read it and after getting tired of it I stopped making anymore comics for a while.
In high school I wanted to create a serious webcomic with my oc's and all and I was dedicated to it for about a year but it didn't turn out at all like I wanted it to,and so I stopped making anymore comics for a while...again XD.

And now a few years later I'm trying it out again and I feel like I'm taking it much more seriously than the previous two attempts, like with planning it out, developing the characters, finding a consistent style for the comic, I just toke my time with it and I feel like it's doing well so far, I really hope this keeps up. and I don't stop making comics for the third time. =v= I don't know exactly how long I've been making comics since it's so inconsistent but I've been drawing the current one for the past 3-4 months

Congratulations on completing a comic series. (I haven't completed a comic project ever and I am 26 T^T) I was in a rot that is way most of my comic never saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I was nervous about posting anything new (like a new comic) so I know what you mean. Eventually I want to see the readers reaction.
