How many characters are in your comic or that you plan to have in your comic

A lot, probably... Since my comic focus on survival, people will also die left and right, hence the amount of character. But the main and supporting main characters will remain somewhere under 10, probably... TT_TT

Our comic The Dumpling King has one main child protagonist but 4 main characters (3rd just revealed just now!) and about 7 relevant characters...
all of them are kinda not fun though hahaha... its really hard to create characters that are unique and don't overlap each other so stressful XD

I want to ensure that all the characters I feature by name are developed to be more than just archetypes and personality traits, so far I have a little over 20 such characters. More will probably arise, but for now these are the characters that are most directly related to one another and the plot.

Currently,I just counted, I have about 30 planned. I already showed around 24 of them. Probably gonna stretch past 60 or 70 a little by the time I'm done. Of course not all of them are going to be fleshed out and developed. A few are gonna be last minute for the final fights and to showcase shown characters powers. I'm looking at about 5 main characters, 3 important secondaries and maybe 20 others who are relevant at various times. West takes place across villages/towns/cities across a wide area so...hundreds, possibly? It'd be possible to guess.

Wow, 100 characters is a ton! I have only have 10 characters including secondary characters planned for Household Slime Mold, but I might add more just as extras. I want to really flesh out all of my characters, so I'm trying not to go crazy with how many I'm going to have in my comic.

There are 3 main characters on my comic VCvsDvsCFAD, 12 somewhat important characters, and a ton more that are just there for a second hahaha. Every character has their story, but I just want to concentrate at the main 3 lives.

Life of an Aspie will probably when its all said and done have a total character count that's somewhere in the high double digits (I think). Main cast wise, it currently has 7 characters, 5 guys and 2 girls. I consider the main protaganist's grandma to be more of a "side character".

I limited myself to a maximum of 15 characters reoccuring characterd (there are actually more background characters that say a line or two every now and then but they dont contribute to the plot so im not including them) i limited myself because i didnt want to focuse too much on side characters and their plots. I actually thought 15 was a lot but reading posts on here its actually not that much 😂

Well for Royal Pain, I think I have like 32 main/plot relevant characters (not including one-off characters). And probably like.. I dunno, 50 background characters? I didn't count, I'm just throwing a number out there cause there's a lot of crowd scenes and one-off characters o3o

Destiny Awaits is in the process of being reworked, but it's got about 41 characters so far.

For KF, theres 14 characters overall - with only 9 of those being the main characters. The last plot relevant character hasn't been revealed yet.
For the overall universe the story takes place in, but the characters aren't necessarily part of the story, it jumps up to 39.

then for In Memoriam, which is still in prog, it jumps between 11 and 10 characters who are relevant to the plot.

Galebound will definitely have six major characters, four of whom have made an appearance already and two have had their names revealed (Yeaaaaah, Creepy Smile Lady is a major character. I love her so much, but she won't be around for a while). The next currently-unnamed major character will get his name next chapter.

Side characters, I think there were 19-21 side characters with large enough parts to get names. 6-8 of them have major bearing on the plot (I say 6-8 because there's one story arc that might get wedged in depending on pacing, which would add two more characters).

SPIRE has about 17(??) characters so far that I've made refs for, but there's going to be almost 40-60 characters in total counting both important and unimportant characters by my halfway point (it's divided into 2 overarching plots). After that there's going to be a few more but I've yet to start working on the huge plot points on the second arc. I'm currently assuming my comic will take 4-6 years to reach that point since it has a format that lets me put in as much filler/single character arcs/side plots as I'd like before the halfway mark. Second half I'm assuming will take anywhere from 2-4 years depending on whether or not it ends up being super extended like the first half of it seems to be.

I've got about 25-30 relevant characters, with about 7 main characters with the rest being secondaries. For background characters or ones you only see for a short time or don't contribute much, I have 100+ of those. XD Overall, each of the mains have their own arcs, but they all intertwine as the story goes on. ouo

There Was a War focused mainly on two characters, Cath and Balor. But overall, I'd say there were (including C & B) 4 main characters and perhaps 10 named, recurring side characters.

For Neon Rabbit... probably 30ish relevant characters? It might be higher when everything is said and done though, some of the background characters might become important later, I am undecided as of yet. The main group consists of 8-10 characters, that will be featured throughout the story. Though more could be added later on, I haven't actually planned out the whole story, if it runs longer then the 10 chapters I am shooting for the number might skyrocket, lol. XD

Well, my comic has Loads and Loads of Characters pretty much from the concept... So far (not counting characters who hasn't appeared in the comic yet even if their concept/design is planned) I got 30+ more-or-less recurring/relevant characters (as it's more of a gag series I get new ideas for all the time and not story-based, who knows how much they'll show up haha) and more always have the potential to happen (basically, every game company, and some other (mainly tech)companies if they did something relevant to gaming, has a potential personification here)
