How many characters do you have currently in your story?

I currently have 15 that have appeared in my story, which includes main cast and minor/new(but to-be recurring) faces.
Alec, Luke, Teresa(ghost), Carl, Aldi, Vega, Dr. Horace
Friar, Gallus, Bucky, Chantecleer, Schmultz, Bress, Doc, Chickpea
That's 7 humans, 8 chickens.

How many you got? (feel free to break em down into groups too)

I currently have 5 but there will be much more due to the fact my Comic is about the Zodiac Signs there will be at least 12 Charakter +/- some side Charakter so there will be around 15-17 Charakter in total.

I know that overtime this might change. I really want to do more with Tamara and Tune but haven’t really got around to it. And there is one character who overtime might move down (I am not going to say who it is right now).

10 Story characters (including main, side, minor) Mains: Maor, Sanariya etc. Sides: The 2 guards, Jen (they will have their scenes in the future). Minors: The turtle siblings, village flutist, etc. Some BG characters will reoccur multiple times in some key scenes therefore earning a place of 'Minor story characters'.

9 'Active' Background characters: They partake more and mostly have some presence on panels, such as Ms. Bell & the seal fish-monger. Some seemed to be just BG characters but they will have their moments in the future. Some BG characters only appear once or twice but their presences are too strong. They're the 'glorified BG characters'.

30~32 Nameless BG characters that stay in the backdrops consistently: villagers, toddlers, kids etc.

Others that don't count are mostly travellers that only be shown once. Maybe 8~12 I didn't count them.

I write episode for episode and the first thing I usually do in the editing phase is to kick characters

Then we have the villagers from the Saint Horns (the first chapter, 6 characters if we don't count extras)
Maria and Mr. Hand (2)
Raliath, Enzi, Moss and Berlath (4)

So in total so far... 17, +2 of the future chapter 5, another 2 of Ch.6, 1 or more of chapter 7, around 5 in the 8th and last one at the last two chapters.
In total it should be at least 28 character in the whole volume.

Ravening, the drow thief (Hates/enemies with/love interest of Ragna. Eventually best friends with Randy.)

Smoke, the tabaxi bard (wants to be left out of everything, will 100% get dragged into it. Also friends with Randy.)
Deirdra the Unyielding, the dragonborn barbarian (Ragna and Ravening share a co-crush on Deirdra. The feeling is definitely not mutual. Also friends with Randy.)
