How many OCs do you have?

Dang, 500, that is a lot of OCs!

At last count I had 94 original characters, starting with my very first self-insert that I created in middle school.

I had characters before that, of course, but I invented characters SO FREQUENTLY as a tiny shazz that I really would struggle to remember them all. xD

Some of the 94 are like... middle school characters that I don't plan to revisit/do anything with but they're still dear to me as a piece of who I was then. Some are D&D characters, some were once part of a story I was working on at the time, some are just characters I made for fun. I didn't include anyone that I couldn't remember (since obviously they weren't significant enough to stick with me), and I didn't include anyone that was just a name and design and not much else.

i only counted OCs that are named and im actually working on rn... i couldnt think of ten but guessed 10+

if it was like... every oc i ever created.......... thatd be........ a lot. but most of them are kinda dead

My filing cabinets are full...and since I'm mainly working on anthologies right now I utilize the backlogged ones as much as I create new ones.

I have tons of OCs. Some for my own stories and some from the fandoms I like. In fact, one of the things I judge a franchise or a fandom is by how easy it is to make an OC and slip it into the world because some are much more conductive to that sort of thing than others.

When I started my comic, POW! Right in the Nostalgia, it was originally a cast of 6 to be the main focus, but in four years, the cast (including minor characters) has grown to around closer to 30. O_o

And it keeps growing. >_<;;;

I've got over 1000+ that've been fleshed out over the years. I don't know the exact number, but I do know it's that much. I usually try to keep track of them all by organizing them based on the stories they're in. So far, most of the OCs I have are from one-shot stories.

I have 100+ characters. I'm including characters that have/will been(be) used in my web comic. The characters that haven't been shown yet have already been written in a script that I made years ago. These characters are more than just filler characters. My web comic is basically the story being told with pictures.

Jeez. I probably have like... more than 50 if we're going back to when I was a kid. Including the Marvel superhero rip offs. And Ben 10 rip offs. And ... Avatar rip offs.
And Adventure Time rip offs...

Looks like i'm the first guy to put up the 350+, I looked through old journals (since 2010) and count, lost count around 410.

Out of the OCs, around only 150+ of those guys are named and are pretty much on my backlog if I need a character or two to bring into my comic, after I alter the character design a bit. It's ironic because my main cast is only 4 people.
