Every time you upload, the views spike. And the following days the views go down and maintain a plateau.
I'm just wondering how many views do you get when you upload and how many views do you get the following days before the next upload?

About 34 views, then it slowly grows to a 100 view (I have 13 subs atm) per comic. Then it gains about 50 more the week after after I post the next update.
But then again, I've been making a lot of updates and throttling social media.

TWO!!!! Maybe three! Sometimes none!

I actually have an anomaly right now with "Kaitei Niou"'s latest update of a bonus chapter and I've gotten just over 10 views the last two days since that update. But I think that's because it's finished so someone could be binge-reading it  Nothing wrong with that.

I get somewhere around 10-30, but that's with a LOT of social media pushing. The most I got was actually 75?60? something like that, in a single day, because of Top Webcomics and a lot of posting in this forum when I came out of my shell here, and I didn't even have an update that week. That stuff pays off!

I think the number of views depends on your uploading schedule too. If you upload once every month, you get less traffic than if you upload steadily once a week or once every 1.5 week.

I started posting here on tapas some months ago and at first I think it's nice to publish often in order to win the loyalty of some reader base. Once you reach a number of subs/likes/views that seems a bit more consistent, you can slow down the uploading.

i usually get 250 by the end of an upload day, not too bad tbh. my total views for the whole comic spike to 600-800 though.

I only keep an eye on my webtoon staistics,
about 10-15k views upon update, and then 7-3 k the following days until the next update a week later.
Definitely decreases with days going by and then stagnant at around 3k until I update again.
Edit: checked on tapas, around 500 views per update

I have about 550 subs, and on an upload day, I get about 120-150 views. The following days is about 50, then 10, then 5ish until the next upload. I post only once a week

I also have a note in my banner that says I update every friday, so I'm sure that helps a bit

On my recent uploads i got, first 222, second 81 and last (today) 181.
During the whole month i got between 3 and 125 views per day

Now this is for the overall comic. The updates themselves get less than 40 views.

Right now in every update, about more than 20 views.

Per week about less than 60 views for the current update.

But as a whole for my current numbers of pages, per day is 35 to more than 40 and per week is between a hundred to near 200.

I usually keep promoting my updates until they reach at least a 100 views.
But.. you can't go by this. you could have a lucky break and get 100 views in an hour or a 100 in two days.
There are a lot of factors.

Webtoons:

Tapas:

Just posted my first story today and it's got like 4 views. Got a huge back catalogue of shorts and the start of my first larger project. Let's see how this sight works for me hopefully I can gain an audience.

On Tapas, eh, probably between 15-25 initially. On Webtoon, by contrast, it tends to sit well into the hundred.

I imagine it doesn't help that I've been pushing Webtoon harder for a lot longer and I've only recently been turning attention to Tapas. Hopefully some work can even them out (though sometimes I wonder if I should be focusing more on one or the other). :relieved:

100ish for newer pages, 300ish for older ones which makes sense since i took a long hiatus. probably will catch up eventually

4 years later

Depends on the episode..When I first started I was getting 400-600ish on the first day or two. Now I get 200-400? Either way I'm really thankful so many people view my work :sob:
