For Perineal Circus, I (supposedly) upload once a-week, every Wednesday. I try to stay ahead of schedule about an episode or two, but sometimes I just break and post them all up. I have self-control issues stuck_out_tongue

Daily. But I can only do that because I have a comic I've been writing for 4 years. I'm adapting it for tapastic though (coloring black and white comics in and adjusting jokes) so it's semi new. I actually write new versions of that comic strip 3 time a week. I'll eventually catch up to myself.

I write another comic strip that I update once sometimes twice a week.

They are both relatively simple to draw. I try to set aside time to make them. It usually takes me around an hour total to write and illustrate 3 comics so I split that time up over the course of a few days(usually in the morning or evenings). I'll also occasionally binge on writing and do a bunch in one sitting.

I've dropped the pace to 3 pages per week so to have more time for other things, and because they tend to be more complex now than in the beginning. I've passed the 50 pages now since the beginning and that feels a bit wow, knowing that comic books are usually 48 pages long ^^

once a month when i have issues with my pc, once a week if everything is ok, 20-40 pages each time. I know is not the best way to be popular but i do this more for myself, for getting this idea out of my dreams and making it a reality, so it doesnt matter if it gets a lot of attention or not.

Three days a week, but I just draw a 4 panel slice of life so I guess that isn't super impressive :yum:.

I tried taking a hiatus but I can't seem to pull through on them. I'm supposed to be on one now, but I still have the urge to pick up a pencil for the most part.

I try to upload at least once a week.

But sometimes I redraw and rewrite scenes and as I have no buffer, this causes me to miss an update day.

I upload once a week( monday) I wish I could upload more than that, but it's just not a possibility at the moment :sob: One day though!:persevere:

We're updating our comic once a week on Fridays. We went back and fixed some of the problems with our comic and now we're updating it on tapas.Having a buffer is great but we've gone on hiatus a few times because of life. Excited for the summer so we have more time to work on the comic.

The first month I was posting I made a comic for every other day for a full month. Kept that up for a while and then went really... unstable for a while. I was posting comics for twice a week last month and haven't done a thing this month. Very erratic.
For new time comic makers I suggest building a queue. Make enough comics to post every day or every other day for a week or more. That way it keeps updating on the website and has a higher chance of being seen. Then set a schedule that works for you and go on from there.

Kudos to those that can update daily - I personally find that very difficult to produce a doodle (mine aren't even a full blown comic page) and upload it. Life exhausts you sometimes and you just haven't got the oomph to draw the smallest thing.

At the moment I'm new to Tapas so I am using it just as a highlight of my doodles thing - maybe once a fortnight? I'm not very sure how to go about it yet, but I feel like it would be better if I concentrated my efforts on my main website (via tumblr).

I understand that some people upload their comics via several channels but I'm not too sure if that is for me.

Well, at first i tried the once a week to update my comic. But due to all the corrections and the process (Sketching, pencils, inking, scanning, correcting stuff, colors and then correcting mistakes) i find hard to even draw something sometimes also due to the studies stuff.

I have weeks without updating a single page, but let's see how it goes.

..not enough? I used to try to upload twice a week, I think? I've really lost the swing of it though... so now what happens is, I go "Alright enough's enough!" and sit myself down and draw up five or so comics, and go "Okay! You're good for x weeks! Keep drawing, keep the buffer, and we're back!" and then I'll actually forget to post even though I have comics sitting waiting, and then I'll post and forget that I posted the day before, and then I'll run out of buffer and not have anything drawn since then... I'm the worst at time management hahaha

I upload twice a week, this way I feel the story doesnt get too slow,
I spend lot of time in evry page but Im sure I'll get used and be faster later : )

We used to upload a scene which contained sth between 7 to 14 pages every 14 days.
Recently we changed our uploading schedule to 2 pages every Wednesday and every Sunday. So far the schedule's been received just fine by our readers and if they like it we're gonna keep it up.

14 pages in 14 days was quite a stressful thing :scream:

About once a day but my style of comic does not take as long as many others.

4 months later

mine i upload once a week, thought i have many pages done already i don't want to unleash it to fast
,namely because if i happen to get too busy some days i would miss a week or 2 and not have a apge done,https://tapas.io/episode/Knights%20Chronicles

1-2 pages per week, on Sundays. Hoping to maybe bump it up to 2-3 after the turn of the year, I've felt my speed getting better recently~
