In comics or art, that's near impossible. There's a reason the term "starving artist" was coined.

I follow them too, but I'm not looking for another artist to work with bc I'm currently working with a featured artist. I can't keep up with their schedule :joy: anyways, thank you!

Also want to chime in that if you want a more suitable market than fetish porn (like y'all how horny is this website omg), do commissions of people's pets. People are starving for custom images of their dog or cat--they're willing to spend a lot of money on it because a lot of them are older, and as an added plus I don't have to be ashamed if my grandmother sees it.

We're not horny just realistic. I've been drawing porn for people for months and it's been a good and genuinely helpful bit of extra income. It's only with weird fetish porn that I've been able to make rent or pay for gas a couple times. Plus, my grandmother understands the grind, you got to do what you got to do.

A person asked what was the quickest way to earn money. With art it's porn. And yes, people are horny, anybody who claims he isn't is either lying, prepubescent, or asexual. That's why drawing porn is so profitable in the first place.

Many asexuals are also horny, just not horny for sex, but they enjoy a lot erotic art

Drawing pets has made me thousands of dollars, and you don't have to be well established and you don't really have to even get your name out there. I barely advertise it online, but pets people talk to eachother, and if you can paint a horse, you can make a ton of money.

If porn is what you need to do, then that's none of my business, but the original post is about buying an ipad, they are not starving. For myself, I would lose my dayjob if people see me drawing porn art, it's not a thing that everyone can do, in fact I don't think most people can really get away with it, which is why they tend to draw it under a username.

I thought about getting in the pet portrait game a long time ago.
Right around the time I gave up on art, I was getting some varios portrait commission offers but I think pet drawings was like my dream job lol

Regarding drawing animal portraits, isn't this actually harder than doing humans? I mean, a good artist can draw a cat with ease, sure, but drawing a specific cat would be significantly harder? Especially if you mostly drew snakes before that.

It would make the same sense if they went to draw erotica when they never did draw two humans physically interacting :joy:

I mean... you need some experience in the field, no? :joy:

I mean, it's the same as drawing humans. Practice enough people, you can draw people. Practice enough animals, you can draw animals. Neither is really inherently easier, it's just what you're more familiar with. The more skilled your eyes get at seeing specific details, the better you can apply them to match the reference. I've seen a lot of professional artists trace the references as well to get them to be as accurate as possible.

I totally draw stories with porn and trust me. i have earned enough to buy a Mac computer and you know those are expensive lol. I do want to make more money but i have a full time job so time is limited. but yes Porn sells big time.

I think this is a good option. I would hire someone who is good with modern buildings and interiors, since I have little time. For example, I ordered a model of an entire Japanese school, sci-fi weapons and a motorcycle for comics.

Yeah that's what I thought since it's my specialty. But it's still hard to find a client

Have you tried posting models for sale on sites like Gumroad? (I'm sure there are others more tailored to comic resources too.) Might be a good way to get some passive income.

Royalty-free stock artwork could not give a fast profit, I tried. I'm seriously thinking that crypto is a good idea and I read1 a lot of information about it. Sadly, I can't make a lot of profit on a freelance, so any other ways are interesting to me.
