Since the new design launched, I saw many people that have requested dark mode.
So I just wanted to share something that I found that could get you a dark mode on tapas (for chrome users)

this how it looks:

so basically all you need to do is to google for "dark mode extenstion" and download the extenstion.
this is the one i downloaded: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-mode/dmghijelimhndkbmpgbldicpogfkceaj/related1.3k

After you download it you just need to turn it on when you open tapas and don't forget to turn it off when you exit the site.
I know that some of you probably already knew about this, but I hope it helps to those who didn't :smile_01:

Just tried it out. I could say it works too well since it blacks out profile pictures. xD But that's just a tiny detail. The most important thing is that this extension is an eyesight saver. xD

Thanks for the link.

haha, I didn't notice that
I think there are some more dark mode extensions out there that may be better, you can try them if you want :yum:
I am just too lazy to do that :relieved:

I also have a solution.

For yall on firefox, I am trying this with good results:

You have to tweak the default settings a bit but it works. :ok_hand: You can also pick whatever colors you want for background and text, which is nice.

I'm using the Darkreader Chrome extension. It's working good for me.

Yea I really like that one. There is also one where your night mode experience can be more granular as well.

If you look at settings under general there's "display" there it has a dark mode option, hope this helps!
