How about something short and sweet like this comic pilot I did a while ago! I'd love to hear about what I should improve on for the reboot of it I'm working on. Public is dandy.

Ok so the story is cute. Feels like a "Will they? Wont they?" type of tale.

Firstly I would like to say that I completely adore your art style. It's just so free flowing, expressive and adorable.

The story narrative starts out pretty choppy and a little bit confusing, but you seemed like you gained a clearer idea on what you wanted as it went on. The story and setting are much easier to understand and follow along.

My only real complaint would be the line work in the later pages. I'm not sure if it's unavoidable or an artistic choice, but the line work looks fuzzy for some reason.
I loved the clean, smooth, sexy, line work you had going on in the early pages. Like this page for example https://tapas.io/episode/616757

Your backgrounds are gorgeous. And the amount of detail you put in them is just perfect.

And last but not least, the characters. I like them. Your female and males leads are just adorable. The people close to them have such a good relationship with them. It's really nice.

Plus you have that sprinkling of the past drama that I'm waiting to find out more about.

So, the fews things I suggest that could improve a readers experience. Cut the events from page to page a little closer. At times it's a bit vague as to when certain events are taking place.

Overall, good work.

I like this comic! The art style is cute and as a Filipina who can't speak Tagalog as well as others I'm able to relate to it fairly well. You just found a new subscriber, my friend.

Sorry for the late reply, been prepping for my character's birthday last weekend... drawing stuff for the next latest episode.

Ah that was an artistic choice :'D I do miss the old lineart myself, but due to time constrains, I went off experimenting a loose way to render these out. It took me longer with the clean one before, so I resorted in a faster approach.

While I have planned these as episodic rather than by chapter, guess at times there would be random happenings in the middle but I'll figure something out.

Wow, just like the title, this does feel like Bleakville.

As you have already said you are working on the art style so there is no need to touch on that.

Great job setting the mood of the story.
However
I feel like you could have an even bigger emotional impact if you slow the intro down and stretch it out a bit. Slowly escalate the acts of animal cruelty until BAM you save the most horrendous act of cruelty to animals for the final scene of the prologue. I feel like that would pull even more emotion from the reader.

I'm...confused. The pace is so fast I'm not entirely sure what is going on, nor do I get to know or feel out the characters. The only thing I can suggest is to slow the story down, and establish the world and characters more.
