@kukkiia Nice comic! 1. Luckily for you, I'm American, so we never adopted the metric system! So you sound tall to me! smiley 2. Ouch.... OUCH. 3. You chose ALL the dinosaurs! Which is totally fine.

@stnmaren Oh to see the sun again! No.. wait, its summer over here. I run away from the sun just like a vampire right now. 1. That sounds like some sweet skills, yo. 2. Gotta respect that kind of love/devotion/mania. smile 3. I love Game Grumps! Danny and Arin crack me up all the time.

Ok three truth facts about me

1) I have the word Hated carved into my left leg from a mental break I had last year from really bad bullying

2) Growing up the most cats we had in my house at once was 30 (my mother was a cat breeder) when she stopped breeding the most was 11

3)I am a duel citizen US and Australia my dad met my mom when they were 19 when he went to Sydney for a travel abroad and she was the girl across the hall who hated his guts cuz he was the loud american that seemed to pop up everywhere she went, long story short they fell in love she followed him to the US they threatened to deport her when my parents where already engaged and planning their wedding so they have two anniversaries (they celebrate both) and had me when they were 23 my brother when they were 22 and are still happily married( they write each other notes on a chalkboard they have in their room each day about what they love about each other its soon cute).

They are my love inspiration

Hi guys, this is such a fun thread!!! smiley I'm Rinari and I have a new webcomic called Haven + Hael if anyone wanted to check it out blush

Some facts about me:

1) I think paws are the cutest part of any animal. Like I think dumb chubby cat paws are the cutest thing. Sometimes I feel like crying, they're so cute.

  • 1a) On the subject of cats, I saw a stray kitten on my boyfriend's porch yesterday and got so excited that I rushed out to buy cat food for it and promptly sliced open my thumb on the lid of the metal can. Started bleeding EVERYWHERE and had to be rushed to urgent care by my hysterical boyfriend to get three stitches. Came home a few hours later and still made sure the kitten got its food. XD

2) I LOVE playing video games, particularly RPGs - I've probably played every recent fantasy RPG that you could care to name. But everyone makes fun of me because every single avatar I make looks EXACTLY like me in real life... >_>

3) I'm a big Walking Dead and DC fan, but the trailers at Comic-Con this year kind of let me down...

Bonus because everyone's talking about dinosaurs: ever since I was a little kid (24 now) and saw Jurassic Park, I have CONSISTENTLY had nightmares about velociraptors. Like every scary dream I've ever had, velociraptors were somehow involved. Usually trying to open the door to my house.

PS: I'm sorry to hear about your 1) @scullpanda , I hope things are better for you this year!!

Aw thank you things have gotten better I transferred Colleges and have amazing friends and a supportive family and the most adorable animals , I feel things have gotten better OwO

Hey there Nathan ~ I'm the creator of LostMyth

Some facts about myself,
- I'm engaged to my childhood friend
- I intentionally do bad in school so I won't overshadow my younger
brother
- I'm worse than Zoro (form one piece ) when it comes to directions. My
friends actually hold my hand in public places.

Also,

I am as well. I don't how you make yours, but adding zaffron is a blessing believe me. I usually boil the water, add 5 lipton tea (depends on the size of my kettle), after it seems to have boiled for about less than a min, I add in carnations evaporated milk, and add in Zaffron. Then let the kettle rest on low heat until it boils and boils and turns into a light brownish color. I know most just add in boiled water, but this is how my family makes it and can't get enough. Also, we make custard tea too, GREAT for winter.

I have a scar on my forehead, often get teased that i'm harry potter lol. It's small tho, and doubtly visible. I got mine, from the Tarazan's play ride, in toys r us when I was 12. Didn't want to ruin the fun, so I just covered it with my bangs after disinfecting it with toilet paper looool.

That sounds intriguing!

I almost exclusively drink loose-leaf tea (so no tea-bags for me, only the fiddly kind that requires tea-strainers!) and I drink a wide range of tea! My favourites tend to be black teas an oxidized green teas - though I don't mind a bit of white tea every now and then - and the only variety of tea that I really can't drink is rooibos. It's not made from the camellia sinensis plant cultivars the way 99% of tea is - instead it's made from an indigenous African shrub, which I am apparently mildly allergic to.

I usually drink my tea plain, with no sweeteners and no milk - just hot water and tea! - but when I do spoil myself, I tend to use honey, or this chai syrup I've got sitting in my fridge. It tastes like Christmas!

I don't know if you're lactose intolarant, but try it someday heart_eyes_cat My friends, brought me couple of tea bags from korea, this is a long time ago but oh damn.. I didn't use milk with them. Also, if you don't use milk, only tea. Try adding cinnamon stick while boiling the water and tea, another recipe I use every now and then. I mostly boil the tea bags in the kettle itself.
Here's a picture for your pleasure ~

Oh, I'm not lactose intolerant - I just like my tea better without milk! I think the flavour is just nicer. Also, since I use loose-leaf tea and not tea bags, I don't have to boil it as much, or as long, as I would with teabags; loose-leaf tea packs a lot more flavour than a tea bag does, and doesn't need as much work put in to get the flavour out of it.

I'm one of those tea-purists. XD

The only exception to my no-milk rule is with spicy cinnamon chai - I love chai with a bunch of milk in it. It tastes like a cake, only you don't have to bother chewing. <3

This is so damn true.

13 days later

@scullpanda 1. I'm sorry you've been bullied so hard. I hope things have gotten better? 2. Oh wow, what kind of cats did she breed? 3. Those are some rad parents! Cheers!

@rinari Hi Rinari! 1. Paws are pretty amazing. I love the heck out of my cats' paws. 1a. That is some hardcore cat care! Haha Glad you're okay. 2. Hey, I try to make my avatar look like me, and it never looks quite right. 3. DC has really been letting me down as of late, but I heard Walking Dead is still pretty good! Bonus: I can see that. Raptors were freaking scary as hell.

@strungto 1. Then keep at it! You're doing good so far! 2. And I hope you never do! 3. Steven Universe is phenomenal!

@acealmansoori Hey there! 1. Congrats! 2. Interesting. I hope at some point you let yourself feel comfortable enough to let yourself be as good as you are. But I have no siblings, so I have no idea how those relationships work. 3. Haha at least you have kind enough friends to lead you from danger.

My mother bred Orientals and showed them for years she's an artist now and works mainly on printing presses,

And yea The bullying never got any better but I transferred schools for a new start and am doing a lot better with a bunch of awesome people

That's a cool breed of cat!
I'm glad the change of scenery is working out much better for you! Better people make for a better life

Hmmm 3 facts...

I have quit and restarted drawing/writing Slackman more times than I care to count, but I swear I'll make it work eventually.

I often dream about jamming with my favourite musicians, have done ever since I was a teenager. (I play drums, which will become apparant the more comics I post on here) The first 'dream jam' I ever had was with Machinehead. Often during these jams my drums fall to pieces or parts mysteriously disappear.

Last year I was diagnosed with cancer and spent several months undergoing pretty intense treatment. Please don't feel bad, I'm better now.

@nathankschulz Just found your webcomic through this post, it looks brilliant! Looking forward to tucking in to it!

I'm Shane, I've been here since May posting up my webcomic "Heroes of the World and Beyond".1 So some random facts.

  1. I'm a Philosophy graduate, and generally prefer the existentialist philosophers.
  2. I enjoy words and cold happily sit with a dictionary as much as a novel
  3. i have so many nerd t-shirts it's unreal, I think you'll like this one @nathankschulz smiley

Hi, I'm Vong. Or vongcw or cwvong online. Nobody can figure out which order the names go. I'm the author and artist of Aetherwar

Here are three things about me:
(1) I'm still scared of the dark. My wife makes fun of me for it sometimes, but I remind her she has arachnophobia. What is fear of the dark called? Nyctophobia?
(2) I eat peas. But I only enjoy them if they are separate from anything else. I don't think I have any form of asperger's... But my wife hides them in a lot of my food anyway and I often eat them without realising it.
(3) I used to Dungeon Master for D&D. Drawing large maps was the most fun part of it. But I couldn't sustain the hours put into games. So oh well... it was a phase.

smile Pleased to meet you. And thanks. I've learned a lot about others now too.

Hola, I'm Isky. I'm the author and artist of Rich Fiction1.

Three random facts about me

1.) I like urinating outside at night when I'm walking my dog and there's no one in the vicinity. It's quite liberating.

2.) I love traveling and meeting new people. My favorite place in the entire world is Positano, Italy.

3.) I eat sushi almost every day. Methylmercury will be the death of me.

My real name is Ken. I originated in Dayton, Ohio over 3/4 Century ago. I have finally ended up in the Philippines just outside Manila.
I have been around the Northern Hemisphere several times with various jobs and lived in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Tunisia, Germany, Spain, Korea and finally here in eh Philippines where I live with my family.
We have a 12 year old son left at home.
I have just begun comics last month.
Right now I am learning how to draw Anime both with a pencil and digital.
As I am retired, I can work on it at any time.
One of my biggest problems is that my humor comes from long ago. I think my first pet was a dinosaur.
If you are trying to figure it out. I am 76 now.

@nathankschulz I know I'm a thousand years late to this topic! I'm Hari, I write a comic that reflects what a big fantasy RPG nerd I am and another one with, uh, a sassy demon. I had to chip in because I was also one of those kids who knew All The Dinosaurs (and tried to tell everyone about them and draw them and stuck dinosour stickers everywhere) and when I was about 4 or 5 years old, Ankylosaurus was 100% my favourite, but I forgot what its name was until JUST NOW. So, thank you for that small personal revelation.

1) I love tea with a fiery passion but with lowly teabags like everyone else from the UK. But I can't drink much because of dietary requirements (the struggle).
2) I'm wrapped in a duvet right now because I live in a super old building in scotland, where hitting october means winter has already come.
3) My dad is a classics nerd and my big sister got to help name me, so my middle name is xanthe, because they thought the X would be cool. People tend to think I randomly put the X in my initials for no reason (or perhaps FOR XTREME) but actually it was them.

(also @whydocowsfall also I was totally too scared of fluffy to read HP when it first came out and had to be persuaded back to them years later, but was all okay reading lord of the rings?? for some reason?? and I'm way impressed you read the iliad & the odyssey at that age. WHAT.)

I'm the creator of two series: Garden Of Mold and Welcome Back Series. They're both about weird dream worlds, strange people and strange places. They're both old comics so i'm planning on working on third new one since I haven't made a comic in a year.

Facts:
-I love seals and bunnies
-Comics aren't the only thing I do. I'm a 3D major as well as a 2D animator and I like making digital music on the side.
-Everyone thinks I'm either a goth, punk or a junkie from my art and (spoilers) Nope. I'm not. I'm a filthy conformist sheep.

Also I love all dinosaurs as long as they have feathers. Tired of seeing bald dinos.
