Feel like its a little unfair to use Deadpool as a "look disney is fine with R" when both deadpool movies where made before fox and disney sorted everything out. if they make a third deadpool movie thats R we can confirm that maybe they're willing to leave their comfort zones.

Not really, simply because unless you have a good name in the animation industry, expect to be treated like shit. Once you sell it you lose all rights. Want to draw some extra art work? you need permission, now. Want to make some extra merchandise? ask papa disney for permission. And really don't expect to make any money from said merchandise. That all goes to the company.

The person who made Making fiends, had their stuff as a web series, before being bought by nickelodeon. It was cancelled despite its good views and profits, and now the creator cant continue it online as they no longer have the rights.

Overall no it unless you get a shit ton of money upfront, and are not too attached to your work.

In a heartbeat, not only Disney, hulu, netflix anything Ideas aren't what's lacking so I don't see why not, I just want to create.
My work isn't family friendly or may not be PC at all so it would never work with Disney unless they add a couple more digits
