A good cinematic movie i can watch in theater?

I like watching theater movies being very cinematic, slow burn, and don't have much dialogues, and sometimes relaxing. :kissing_smiling_eyes::tropical_drink:

If it's IMAX cinema, i pick Bladerunner 2049. So gorgeous to look at.

If it's a normal typical cinema, i'll pick the classics. Hmm, Hitchcock's Vertigo (remastered) Great psychological thriller with great music and great visual.

I am with @yondoloki on the extended cut of LOTR :hohoho:
Only ever seen Two Towers in cinema, sitting in the front row and there were like 4 more people in the hall (it was Saturday morning and I skipped school for this), daaaaaaaamn the first scene will be forever imprinted on my retina.

Easily Possession (1981). Its a movie that really relaxes me and I’d kill to see it on the big screen.

Its actually getting a small theatrical release this year and I may or may not drive several hours to go watch it :sob:

They use to do this offers here, not sure if they still running this promotions. You could even play videogames (as long as you brought the system with you).

As for movies, I would go with Dunkirk. Reason is that movie audio is tailor made for cinema experience. I have it and tried it on my 5.1 surround and it just feels so empty compare to when I saw it on theater. Only movie that has made me feel that way in regards to the audio.

The Lighthouse.

I'm dying to watch that in a proper theater again :hohoho:

Will save the food for after the movie to not distract myself, but lobsters would be nice, ehehe.

Grown Ups

easily a good movie, very funny. And I swear they are all the men I wanna be when I grow up

Inception bc the first time I saw it was on my phone like a year ago or something lmao that theater experience must have been rad as hell..

To eat and drink though? Gotta go classic buttered popcorn and a soda. Cherry Coke, if ya wanna know that badly :sunglasses:

I actually work at a theater right now :eyes:
But anyways, um I'd probably want to see a classic Kaiju movie. Either Godzilla vs Gigan or Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla.

Terminator 2 and aliens.

Edit: actually add T1 to mix as well. Kyle Reese is so hot I wanna see his sweaty body on the big screen :ok_hand:

Either something super sappy - because no one can see me bawl my eyes out, if I'm alone - or movies I could watch over and over again, like (already mentioned) LOTR or the Raimi-Spider Man movies, because why not xD

Oh man, you know what I'd pick?

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

Classic movie that probably looks amazing on a big screen that I've only ever seen on a small one. I have never had a bad time watching the original Star Wars. It's just a simple, fun movie that's easy to enjoy.

As my snack, I'd go for an ice lolly. When I was growing up here in the UK, popcorn wasn't a big thing associated with movies, and it was more common to have ice cream or an ice lolly, so that always feels more "right" as a cinema treat for me.

Lion King. It’s one of the first films I saw in theaters. The backgrounds of the movie are so gorgeous so that too.

And it is short. I am sort of not a fan a theaters because the long films hurt my eyes.

LOTR: Return of the King. So I can get 3 and a half hours all to myself lmao

Jurassic Park! It is such a cinematic masterpiece for it's time! That would be so neat...but also a little terrifying seeing it by myself...

Yes I remember when you could play Video Games in Cinemas!! Seems like a world ago, we didn't realise how lucky we were. Good choice with Dunkirk.

That is indeed a classic Cinema experience. Something about the suspenseful and amazing soundtrack, the grandeur of the animals themselves just makes it so larger than life and epic. Jurassic Park IS cinema...
