I think the biggest difference is that the colors became more vibrant, the shadows better and the clouds look more like actual clouds.

Part of the reason it improved was the fact that I switched from traditional with digital coloring and shadows to completely digital. And y'know, actual artistic improvement. Oh, ya'll should have seen the original prologue that was on Inkblazer's, though. It was pretty much a totally different style: I had colored it in with markers instead.

Isn't it awesome? Even the little things like seeing the artists' lines tighten up or watching how they progress and get more experimental with bubbles/lettering, it's massively refreshing! You guys rock, man!!

i have always recognized that i can pick up on something and get half-decent at it relatively quickly, and i think it is starting to show with my drawing digitally.

piece of my main character, jay, from my comic, AM, from early-ish march (so like 2.5 weeks ago):

and then a piece i did of myself, to sort of assess my improvement thus far:

i can definitely see that i have a long way to go yet before i can actually get good at any digital art, but im surely getting there

side note: i can draw other poses equally as well, i am just sort of a "thumbs-up-y" kind of guy (if that makes any sense at all)
