Introduce your Villain!

The main villain in Goblins of Razard is Zilck:

He betrayed the wizard order that raised him and is responsible for basically wiping out all the magic users in the world.
A sub villain so to speak is Reign's (the main hero) older brother Laird.

Laird is a powerful and ruthless ruler and was happy to assist Zilck in getting rid of the wizards in order to cement his place in the world. It's all good villainous stuff. <3

The villain of I, Necromancer is also its protagonist!

Buuut,maybe he didn't start off that bad? That idea's one of the major themes of the story.
Sorta like ... Breaking Bad meets Dungeons and Dragons.

while Talesfromswipecitydoes have bad guys, not all of them are as bad a they paint. I wanted the comic to be realistic and in truth we all have god and bad sides. that said say hello to the true original Villein of Swipe city

Clarence Potts AKA The Paddler.

the short version of his story....

As a child Clarence Potts found himself the victim of an abusive step daddy due to the lies told by his mean step sister. after one very bad beating Clarence aged 10 killed his step sister by beating her to death with a spanking paddle. after he was taken into custody , Clarence was used as a case study by a doctor who used his love of comics to mold his mind in order to complete her research, as a result Clarence began to think of "the joker" as a father figure. once he was too old for the young institute he was placed in a prison for 20 years without trial until a lawyer named Loraine Lawson got him out on a technicality, only to have him work (kill) for her.

You're lucky - my antagonist finally showed up in the comic, so I can post about him now!

Meet Lord Kobayashi, a very skinny and very tired-looking man in clothes that have definitely seen better days!

His goals and purpose are pretty mysterious so far, but he and his tiny righthand woman Wen are responsible for sending out the latest round of inept thugs after my protagonist, Masahiro. He claims those thugs were sent out to recover something of his that was taken from him, but what that is - and why it's missing - is not yet clear.

Also, this is Wen:

She packs a lot of anger into a very tiny body, so it's pretty explosive.

I prefer the term "antagonist" to "villain". And my comic Voidchild is meant to feature a number of those. But here's the most obvious one so far:

Nelson Movian:

What we know about him so far is that he's part of of some kind of clandestine organisation. He resides in Victoria (the fictional city in Voidchild). He's got resources, a high level of intelligence and cunning. He's shown sadistic traits and self-serving motives and has attempted the sacrifice of three infant children in exchange for power, the purpose of which has yet to be explored. But it's clear that he's willing to go pretty far for them.

What we don't know about him so far is what his end goal is and whether it differs from the organisation he's part of. He recognises the protagonist of Voidchild, even though he's never met her. But I've not yet explained how and why (but will be doing that very soon). It is unclear what role he will be playing in the future of Voidchild.

Also, he's kind of a jerk!

I assume the lighter one is Davion? That looks like a really mean character in a mental anguish sort of way. XD Like they'd rather make you mentally suffer than physically or a mix of both. XD Left one just looks bad and mean in all senses of the word.

As for mine, I have two main "sets" of villains from my comic "Naor" :

The first one is Tuhk. He appears on the cover and in Chapters 1 and 3 as his first real "shows". Chapter three is when you really learn about him.

The second set is Za and Aros (respectively). Za pretty much does what Aros says and Aros is a egotistical butthead with no self control. XD Aros appears in chapter 14 I believe. Other than that, I won't say more until I get to his chapter.

Hyperdriven's conflict is more Woman Vs. Environment, but I've been attache to Vulpes' whole aesthetic since I dreamt them up, and they're like an emissary of the universe's rudeness. They're a fashionista, so it's a lot of fun to express facets of them through fashion.

This is Prim. She calls herself a supervillain and likes to steal anything from comic books to dangerous magical items. Her success rate is.... uneven. ^^;;; She likes cute things and mostly dress in pink / pastel colors. But she describes her own clothing style as cool and tuff. ^^ She is emotional, over dramatic and likes to make up amazing stories about her origin as a supervillian that probably is never true...

Captain Ufo doesn't have a recurring villain: each season is a (mostly) self-contained story arc, se each season has new bad guys to face. Currently our villain is this guy here:

Since figuring out who he is is a big part of the story I can't tell you much about him. I can only say that he's known with his codename "Scorpio", that he stole a prototype ship from a powerfull galactic corporation and that he's using it to destroy appearently random star systems. Species, real identity and motivations currently unknown.

A few years back she completely changed her strategies and now seems to want to be the greatest supervillain... but in reality she's more of a comic relief villain. Except in how she treats her employees.

Now that I think about it...I don't really have a "villain" just a bunch of really depressed characters. I guess depression is my "villain".

The character who comes close to being a villain is this person...yet they haven't been introduced in my comic yet.

My comic is a murder mystery so I'm not at liberty to say whether this guy's a villain, but Malcolm is definitely an antagonist of sorts. (Also usually the most fun to write!)

Rich nephew of an eccentric earl, he has a very high opinion of himself and would very much like to inherent the family estate. He's hyper-aware of social rank, generally doesn't notice people with less money than him (unless he wants to torment them), and is preoccupied with impressing anyone who's richer.

It's interesting how much storytelling can differ just in terms of antagonist. I don't have a clear antagonist in my comic since everyone is kind of battling their own bad choices, but I do have a character I can best describe as "villainous" in that he likes to start cat fights, is always smirking, acts as an argument catalyst, became a drug dealer for a page and is a big cheat. His favorite book is Machiavelli's "the Prince" and pretty much strives to live the prince life.

Now that my newest page uploaded, I can introduce this chapter's villain...her name is Susanoo, named after the Japanese mythology deity. In truth, Susanoo is a demi god(her origins are unknown right now), she is a member of a secret society known as the Thunderers. Susanoo has powers similar to Ray Thunder, though she has more experience with her abilities than he; she also possesses a weapon that was believed to be a myth as well- the sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, a powerful lightning blade capable of mass destruction.

this is Elaine. she's a raging asshole. her hobbies include whittling, tormenting her younger brother, killing things, and fucking your bitch.

her entire character arc is comparable to throwing a surprise birthday picnic for your grandma, showing up late and piss drunk with a prostitute, managing to kill half your family, and setting the neighborhood on fire.

I say "for the moment" though because we haven't met all the villains yet and the rest is spoilers...
