hello! i'm Haley and i just started a little slice of life type comic called Bat Bunny

i got the idea for it because i like cute things and violent humor (i grew up always watching Tom&Jerry and Looney Tunes) and my favorite animal is a bat while my friends say i remind them of a bunny. so why not combine the two in a little chibi vampire version of myself??

i love watching movies and anime and finding interesting books to read. i am also addicted to YouTube and listen to video game commentary to lull me to sleep.

Hey everyone,

My name is Glenn and I joined Tapastic a few weeks back. I've been lurking around reading comics here and there. So far I really enjoy Chibi Reiko . I'm an anime/manga fan and I usually go for anything shoujo, josei, or slice of life. If you know of a comic along those lines I'd love to hear about it.

I began mirroring/posting my comic called This Mortal Coil. The first graphic novel is "The Rabbit and the Moon." This particular story plays on the Chinese story about the Lady on the Moon and Jade the rabbit and mixes it with my original character, Kamiko, and story I wrote. This Mortal Coil as a series centers around a new god(dess) named Kamiko and her trials and tribulations as she carves her own place among the different pantheons of the Eternal Realm. She deals with gods, spirits, and mortals alike and this is her first adventure.

I look forward to sharing This Mortal Coil with you. I'd love to get your feedback too. I've actually been working on The Rabbit and the Moon for 2 years now and if you visit This Mortal Coil's home you can read 62 pages of the story (it's not done yet). A lot of what I'm doing is all trial and error and experimental such as what I'm doing here. I'm not sure if making new episodes is the best way to present Mortal Coil on Tapastic, but I gotta start somewhere.

I have a new series called Gamer-Tails, Which is about Monki, my fursona who is a Keaton dog hybrid, and her daily struggles while she travels through dimensions to the Mushroom kingdom, Onett, Hyrule, termina, and many many other places. each dimension changes her appearance. For instance if she was on outset island, she would look a lot more cartoon like toon link.

my series is inspired by my personal experiences , and my favorite comic GamerCat.

I've just recently begun my first series, Sequence, as an experiment with animation and style. Only have a few pages so far to set up the mood, but the story will begin unraveling itself, soon.

As for myself, I enjoy video games, science fiction and horror. Currently, I've been playing through Persona 3: Portable when I have the time.

Hello from Greece!

I'm Tantz- or Tanya if you like! I'm 36 years old, Greek-Canadian, a professional author with a very serious, SERIOUS hobby of webcomic-making, and webcomic reading!

My magnus opus so far in terms of webcomics is Without Moonlight , a historical WWII espionage action drama set in Nazi-occupied Athens. Everything in there is historically accurate and referenced, from the kids that leap for food and form gangs to the way the Greek Resistance formed and the way the Nazis ran affairs. So I hope you'll enjoy if you're into that sort of thing!

Though I've put the NSFW sign (for some grizzly scenes and the fact that there's nazis in there, and you might not want a swastika flashing on your screen at work) there isn't any sex in there... well not yet anyway.

I'd love to read other historical comics! Also fantasy and suspense rock my boat, so feel free to drop me recommendations to read if you got a comic like that going. That's what I'm here for

Hello! My name's is Leila and I'm known as Rainfreak. I'm a freelance multimedia designer and illustrator and I'm the author and artist of Somewhere in the Rain and this is my first time on Tapastic! I'm doing a big return to my story after a complicated time in life. I'm all about urban fantasy and using local history of my region. So I hope you look forward to that.

So far on my reading list are Holy Alice by Hayel/ChocoDevil, which has a wonderful plot and art and also The Devil Who Couldn't Fly by Banan/ChocoDevil, which amuses me to no end! I hope to find more wonderful comics to read here.

I am a writer and artist. I just joined Tapastic and I have to say this looks like the best webcomics website I've ever seen!

I have created my own comic universe called "The Aghoriverse" which I use to put out my own novels, short stories, and comic books. I am posting my comic book, Cap'N Death- Realm of Death, here which is an accompaniment to my comic Super Inc. Villain's Edition Volume 2: The Origin of Cap'N Death. The comic was written for adults, so I have a NSFW listing for mature content.

My comic is the deducers, it is a comedic single panel series. Absurd, hilarious, unjustified, these are words, the deducers is a comic. Words can describe it, but only eyes can see it, and they must.

I'm Alice, and I'm collaborating with my friend Mitch in drawing Madness inc, our new webcomic! A bit about us, we live in rural Pennsylvania and both of us are currently still in school.

We've been updating regularly on Mondays on different sites, but thanks to the format of Tapastic we've uploaded the first chapter in three chunks. From now on though, we'll have single strips uploading on Mondays.

Hi, everyone! I'm still fairly new to Tapastic (thanks for the welcome email, @michaelson !) but am loving the site so far. My name's robin and I've been creating comics (web and print) for about 14 years now. I have generally stuck to slice-of-life/drama/comedy, but with my current web comic, Project O, I decided to take a completely different approach, and went the route of sort of retro-future sci-fi. PO takes place in an alternate version of the 1960's, where space travel happened a lot earlier than it did in our time. I suppose the little blurb on its page can best describe it:
"What if man made it to the moon decades before that fateful trip in 1969?
What if the 60's were a lot more like those pulp science fiction novels wanted them to be?

Project O is a sci-fi drama that takes retro-future elements and runs with them. Set in an alternate reality where life is quickly turning The Patty Duke Show into The Jetsons, it follows the lives of several young people on Earth, and off, as they try to make names for themselves."

There is, of course, a lot more to it than that, but the series is just getting started! (In short, if you like kitschy sci-fi from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, bold lines, and limited color palettes, check it out!)

PO started off on SmackJeeves, but after my friend Lizzie (creator of Thunderbird) suggested I give Tapastic a try, I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love the fact that the site is so mobile-friendly, and the option to include music from soundcloud. I will definitely be using that.
I'm excited to get more involved with Tapastic, and also check out a lot of the comics on the site.

Hello everyone. I'm Chris and I literally just joined after a friend recommended me this site.

My series is called The Templars of the Shifting Verse and it's a relatively ambitious project, the sort which one shouldn't undertake without prior extensive experience (but I tried anyway). The story is a post modern fantasy set in the 1950's of a fantasy world. Four immortals of legend are brought back together after one of them is attacked and they find the new world to be somewhat beyond their grasp or control. It's inspired largely by 1990's Vertigo comics and I owe a lot of my inspiration to Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett and Alan Moore.

The first "Episode" is available to read right now. The episodes are fairly long (22 pages) so it does take me a while to get them done. Still I hope to have more up very shortly!

Hi everybody! I've been sharing my comic Sonnet via tumblr since I started it in January, but I'm loving the community aspect and capability of Tapastic (and how clean and streamlined the site is, dang) so I thought I would start sharing my work here as well!

Sonnet is an ongoing project that will include a series of fairytale-inspired, illustration-heavy short comics in the fantasy genre. The first installment (which will round out at 6 or 7 episodes) tells the story of two knights who meet by chance while fighting a dragon and fall in love. The script for Sonnet is, in fact, written in actual sonnets by my friend Lindsey Rodgers -- it's a love story told in what is literally a love poem format.

If you're interested in previews of upcoming chapters and supplementary artwork, check out the comic on tumblr. I've posted the first three parts/chapters here on Tapastic already, and part 4 is on its way.
