Eh, Its more cus I'm cheap. I used a basic huion screen less tablet before for less than 15 dollars.
Here were the cons:
And my issues were more due to compatibility with certain drawing programs. I had to find the right driver on their site(free so just took time) to make it work if I switched to different program since there was an issue with the tablet if I didn't. But once I stuck with one (clip paint) I saw no other issue after that since most of their drivers work with that anyway.
Really it still works and I bought it 2017
With my current screen tablet my issues were not compatibility related at all. (albeit I only use clip paint so Im not sure how it does on other programs. And I only bought it last Christmas.)
Kanvas
My issue was due to a very slight color difference on the on the screen compared to my computer. I mean it didn't bother me too much since I was using it more for drawing and sketching and I constantly double check my computer screen due to habit when I color. So color correction is usually done anyway.
That's just me.
I never saw a point in buying a brand name product right away when they are soooo expensive. Might as well buy the cheaper version and see how you like it, for us poverty ridden fools.
