I wasn't sure how/where to advertise this, but on September 1st, my webcomic, POW! Right in the Nostalgia will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary...of even existing really!

A DECADE!!!

Seems hard to believe it's been that long given I didn't think I'd go beyond one year when I first started things. I just wanted to finally get a webcomic out there for people to read after numerous failed attempts at getting a webcomic going in some form...usually only getting to character designs, basic plots, and character descriptions... One webcomis I did, "American Omiai" got pretty far into some pages with the help of another artist, but they sadly decided to move on, killing that webcomic (though it is still on The Duck for those curious).

But yeah...10 years working on the same webcomic...I doubt many webcomic creators can say they've been doing the same comic for a decade given a lot of us probably only draw these things as a hobby or some other reason, but to those that have been/are still going, props to you!

Anyway, I have a special comic page I'm working on for this anniversary, which falls on a Sunday this year, and am wondering about something.

Those of you who have read the comic, is there are any particular pages or story arcs you really enjoyed in the comic's 10 year run?
I'm working on adding stuff from those pages/story arcs people like to the special page.

But yeah...10 years...just to get that far...it'll be interesting to see how much further things will continue...to all my readers, thank you for taking the time to read my silly little comic about a bunch of adults that can't let go of their nerdy love of things from the 80's, 90's, and 2000's...

See you all Sunday for the 10th anniversary!

wow, mad respect for having been able to stick with a story that long. Tbh ten years of writing would set me at a week from 9 years old, so I definitely don't have anything even close to that long running yet XD

Thanks to the people congratulating me on this.

Here is the page I did to celebrate the 10th anniversary! The first part being in black and white is a nod to how my comic looked back in 2014 when I first started the comic by inking the pages and then just scanning them onto the computer...before I attempted to add color or use SAI for various things...

I'm particularly proud of the collage background in the last part of the anniversary comic...taking panels of the comic from the last 10 years and combining them together...most of it being major events in the comic over that time from character introductions, marriages, births, etc, etc...

Congrats! 10 years is a long time to work on something. Hope it's been rewarding for you!
Love the collage too.
