I'll list a few alphabetically.

Abby's Hope is a memorable story about about coping with pat traumatic stress. The protagonist does this by writing a fairy tale on that subject and then making an indy movie based on that fairy tale. The novel is presented in chapters which occur out of sequence.

I had a little trouble choosing between Arushi's two books set in India, but I think Beautiful Rebellious Brainiacs is maybe the more unique of the two. This story has so many twists that it defies categorization in any genre.

Chewing Gum is a fun little rock and roll romance about musicians which is currently being updated and rereleased by Valerie Diestro, so it is easy to get caught up.

Lost Number brushes a little close to the urban fantasy that you don't want, but I think it has several unique attributes. Set in small Japanese town, this horror tales stars high school students who are abducted by haunted public pay phones. To me, this feels like a cross between 80s Stephen King and the Persona video games.

Loyal at a Price is an action-packed sci fi story told in episodic style. The protagonist is a mercenary who holds strictly to her own personal code of ethics and thus the title.

Rock of Ages is simply the most fun novel on Tapas in my opinion. Leon weaves an epic adventure story set in the world of music album cover art.

Sphere of Calamity is a sprawling space opera about several cultures from different planets who meet on a remote refugee planet after a great disaster renders them all homeless. Swords, psychics, and spaceships

Lastly and very least, I shall link to my own story only because it is actually relevant to this thread. Alien Fiction is goofy nonsense. Roleplaying rules and non-canonical riff chapters are scattered throughout. https://m.tapas.io/series/Alien-Fiction

Gee, thanks for the shoutout man! I thought everyone had forgotten about Abby's Hope, since it's been on hiatus so long ^^'

Let me know what you think, it has a long way to go but I just started writing it, all tho I have been working on the story for long time

Hey, if you want something unique and batshit insane, try this one out - its entirety was written within a day, my head hurts.

Here's a bit of scifi that might keep you entertained. The first five chapters are posted and I'll be posting two chapters a week (there's about 60 of them all together, maybe a bit more once my conversion from Wattpad is complete).

I'd say mine is pretty unique. I've never seen anything else like it on the site.

While I'm unsure if my novel/story would be considered unique, I feel it is. While it is set in a modern fantasy world fulled with super powers, I also feature a large cast of characters with many sexualities, disabilities, identities, and etc.

I don't know if you're still searching for stories, but hope mine will interest you  It's a story about a former Queen and her quest of finding herself.

I don't if you are going to like it or not
1 is a love story
2 is a Mystery

We've been told this one is unique ...

And the newest one too, which we hope is a good thing since it's a Writer's Camp entry

Also, if we may recommand this one? It is a very interesting backstory to a very interesting novel, from a very interesting writer

Here's a writers camp entry of mine and it has a unique fantasy in it. Hope it catches your interest.

"My Roommate the Sexy Werewolf" - Ha! That made me laugh. There certainly are tropes that get done quite a lot. If you're more into character-driven rather than plot-driven stories, you'd might like my offering. I like reading about a character's thoughts and watching her develop as the story goes along, so that's what I tend to focus on when I write.

I'd describe my series as more of a low fantasy, with emphasis on interesting character interactions rather than endless descriptions of magical things. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then I'd be honored if you checked out my offering. https://tapas.io/series/Siena-Forestfolk-Book-11

Shameless promotion >.> lol I'd love it if you would give my novel a try <3

If there is a thing that defines mine is being unique. I made a mix or mistery and horror, but I created my own system of how magic and supernatural works. Plus a society of lesser beings (lesser is a tad harsh to them). Give it a try it is only weekly so not that hard to follow.

You can check out my series Canticle if you'd like? It's fantasy but mostly action-adventure and is inspired by Japanese light novels and shonen manga. Might be something different than what you're used to seeing?

You can check mine out. It's fantasy but has a very unique story.

Mine is a Sci-fi Fantasy based on famous space operas like Star Wars, Valerian, Destiny, Wonder Over Yonder, and it has a slice of life element similar to Steven Universe or Gravity Falls!

You can check out mine! A modern story, no fantasy elements...just human drama. I'll be posting biweekly until it's complete. Nothing NSFW other than some minor swearing here and there. It's going to start off kind of romance trope-y, but there will eventually be a twist. There's some pretty solid humorous moments, too, I think.
