I made this video 2 weeks ago expressing my thoughts on getting in the zone. I got inspired by Sycra's inspirational talk/speed-paint videos....I'm frightened of putting my voice out there...but at times....I guess you gotta brake the shell. wink

One of the many good feelings that I've experienced while making art would be 'being in the zone'. There are many other factors influencing it but once I am in the zone, I know it's going to be a good art day.

Totally! "being in the zone" feels like a meditation to me smile Not only that but time goes by really fast! What feels like 2 hours, 16 hours actually passed. "Time? What's time!?"

Getting in the zone is a wonderful feeling. You feel like your work is alive and you are watching it play out in your head. You also feel the emotions of the characters.

sigh I wish I could get in the zone more often but I'm forced to work in 2hr or less spurts so getting in the zone is difficult. I cherish the days were I can work on a piece for 5 or more hours straight.;A;/

I understand watcha mean...if only there was more hours in the day xD. Actually...nvm i wouldn't want that(for other reasons). Anyway, there's days when I'm just not feeling it ...but on those days I listen to music or Binureal Beasts: Gamma Waves to focus. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't it...it really depends on how much I have on my mind or how much "real life" stuff I gotta do. Hope you'll find more time smile
