I tried to find my comic organically today, as I updated it... (on the app)

-First i have to go to the Community tab (the most vague word for indi comics ever)
-Then after being bombarded by romance comics, find, and click the tiny little "Genres" button on the bottom.
-Then select the fantasy Genre from another button
-Then click free to read
-then select fresh, instead of popular.
-then scroll down untill I finally see my comic... And only because I JUST updated it can I even see it there.

I'd just like point out that anybody finding your comic, reading your comic, and then subscribing to your comic organically using this system is nothing short of a FREAKING MIRACLE.

You're absolutely right. Every time I get a new sub on webtoon (I don't promote my webtoon mirror that much), I'm so so happy because it means someone actually found my comic. Every organic sub is a literal blessing.

When you put it that way, I appreciate these tiny miracles more :flushed:

Strangely I got the most subs on Tapas within the first two months of publishing my comic. No idea what happened.

These days I mostly get subs on Tapas only when I update on another platform. So readers are like "Let's see if you post to Tapas and follow you there, too."

Agree. It's a needle in a haystack. There are literally tens of thousands of webcomics out there now. Trying to set yourself apart is a massive undertaking.
