My goal for the next year is to start working on this graphic novel idea I've been sitting on.
Also to market myself more/hopefully get more illustration work.

My main resolution is to start posting my big story I've been excited about for too long and do all the promotion/website improvement/patreon bits that surround that. Should be an exciting year!

Oh yeah, I want to make it to a convention this year too. As a reader type person. I had planned to go to the York one this year but it clashed with something so I didn't in the end (although in retrospect wish I had!) I might go to that big Leeds one this year to see how they work

Honestly, I haven't actually MADE any yet, so this topic is as good excuse as any to sit down and make some goals.

Sooo, I suppose:
-Keep up with 2 pages a week
-Finally settle on a schedule (I STILL haven't figured out which day is best for me to upload on)
-Get a Patreon up and running and meet the goals on it
-Conquer my fear of Twitter (personal stuff....) and start getting my comic up on other social media.
-Make more/new friends. I'm terrible about reaching out to people and I need more Tapastic buddies!
-Go to other peoples' live streams more
-Start asserting myself at my job more and trying to take more of a lead
-So that I can get promoted and stay at this job ahaha
-Do some more "concepty" type art to show the right people at work.
-Nag boss to get Photoshop on my computer so I can do the above : |

I usually try to set goals as often as possible but okay here we go

-Improve in art
-Print out short comics and tiny merchandise for my first cons
-Be more active in social media and talk to other artists without anxiety getting the better of me
-Get a Patreon??

-Keep updating Cosmic Fish and Gone Fishing as often as possible.

Great Resolutions, everyone!

Mine:
1) Write at least 3 more radio plays this year
2) Write and draw a short comic (10-20 pages)
3) PRINT A LEGEND (of some sort) AND SELL AT LEAST ONE COPY

(I finished colors on the last page yesterday - now begins the long road of prepping for a small print run- anyone know printers who specialize in 100-500 copy runs?)

I don't have new year's resolutions. I don't like placing a time limit on long term goals. I do much better when breaking them down to short term goals. So here they are:

• Keep working on Heart of Keol. Keep telling the story, even if anxiety tells me no one else cares.

• Make that damn cast page for my main site!

• REVISE THE FIRST PAGE of Heart of Keol. Seriously, I can't even LOOK at it because the writing makes me cringe. I'm gonna open that file in Photoshop and delete the text file super quick so I won't have to read that text. Ugh. The art will probably stay, assuming I can come up with a suitable intro writing that goes with that art.

• Make a certain edit from chapters 2 through 7. (quick text fix, just a lot of files to go through)

• Get ready for my first artist alley(s) in 10+ years! I've done this before, but I feel like a newbie again!

• Keep up with the exercise, but don't stop there! Improve my diet -- abs are made in the kitchen, after all!

• Comment more often on comics that I follow. Try to make them meaningful!
