Jan 2016

My resolution is to stop procrastinating! And continue on my main comic, while also finishing up my two side comics that I have been procrastinating on. Also to finish coloring my book of sketches.

My New Year's Resolution (aside from getting fit):

  • Get a review for my webcomic
  • Be even more active in social media and in the forums
  • Make new creator friends
  • Get a table in a convention
  • Finish Volume 2 by March
  • Finish Volume 3 by the end of 2016
  • Print Volume 1 into a book
  • Manage my time properly between work/freelancing stuff, webcomic and illustrations
  • Gain a Patron
  • Improve my Illustrations
  • Gain 1k subs

LOL It turned into a to-do list than a New Year's Resolution

I don't have new year's resolutions. I don't like placing a time limit on long term goals. I do much better when breaking them down to short term goals. So here they are:

  • Keep working on Heart of Keol. Keep telling the story, even if anxiety tells me no one else cares.

  • Make that damn cast page for my main site!

  • REVISE THE FIRST PAGE of Heart of Keol. Seriously, I can't even LOOK at it because the writing makes me cringe. I'm gonna open that file in Photoshop and delete the text file super quick so I won't have to read that text. Ugh. The art will probably stay, assuming I can come up with a suitable intro writing that goes with that art.

  • Make a certain edit from chapters 2 through 7. (quick text fix, just a lot of files to go through)

  • Get ready for my first artist alley(s) in 10+ years! I've done this before, but I feel like a newbie again!

  • Keep up with the exercise, but don't stop there! Improve my diet -- abs are made in the kitchen, after all!

  • Comment more often on comics that I follow. Try to make them meaningful!

My resolutions for the year:

  • Draw faster; cut my color page time in half
  • Wake up earlier to get more things done
  • Manage to regularly draw four comics
  • Run an online magazine
  • Keep up with social media

eheheheheh sweats:

Well, since it's new years I have a few things to say! For this new year I pledge to:

  • Not lose my buffer for Shapeshifter
  • Finish this big, "BIG" illustration I was planning
  • Draw faster and not be distracted by all the video games I could be playing
  • Be more active on social media!
  • work out more

I guess that's it XD

My resolutions for 2016:

  • Keep working on Bite Me2
  • Improve my drawing skills and learn the damn perspective
  • Play all the games I have!
  • Start new, short series
  • Get a job
  • Clean my PC from all the junk I have
  • Finish my giveaway for 5k subscribers (but it soon will turn into 6k lol)
  • And probably much more I don't remember XD

-Improving on my art style

-Be a bit more active on the forums( lol I need to socialize more)

-And tying with the above, make some new friends!

hm, for art-related ones:

  • keep the task bar OFF of new tablet monitor screen... so far it's helped LOADS with removing distractions, so i just need to resist the temptation to move it over ^^;
  • fill those sketchbooks!! at least one by the end of the year would be nice!
  • get all the art done for my spouse's tabletop RPG...especially since getting the rulebook published is one of his resolutions for 2016 >_>;
(at least this one is in-progress enough to seem doable!)
  • finish pokemonathon entries more regularly, ugh!
  • creating "adoptables" on a semi-regular basis to stretch design muscles and cough the money would be nice if people like them enough >>;;
  • not so much an art thing, but since a lot of people are saying the same thing: socializing...even if just online >>;; my social anxiety is pretty bad!! who knows, maybe working on that would help with art too

HAPPY 2016 EVERYONE!

  • Keep working on Between the Realms even if it kills me.
  • Finish 40 page one-shot for client.
  • Try more coffee places.
  • Explore more of my surroundings.
  • Get a booth at Senshi-con this year.
  • Promote Moonlit Dawn as much as I can, spread the name, build the audience, send to book reviewers and get at least to Chapter 5 published this year.
  • Try to attend local pagan gatherings and meet like-minded individuals, maybe make a friend or two.
  • Get script done to send to agent.
  • Release at least 1 new series this year.
  • "Re-vamp" Very Randdenly and publish as ebook, hopefully sell 1 copy.
  • get better at making comics
  • get better at drawing ...
  • write a story I find good or at least enjoy writing it ...
  • get a script accepted.
  • believe in myself and my art
  • drink lesser sweeten drinks
  • sleep earlier ...
  • wacom ... ...

My resolution is really simple this year; Stop second-guessing myself every step of the way, stfu, and tell this damn story.
