ONE line that describes your character the best?

Hey guys, recently started a thread which asked people to share a brilliant line they wrote for their most recent. I thought it might be interesting to do a thread where people share ONE line (or brief paragraph) that encapsulates their character from their work!

Here is mine (From ELINA):

“I told you before: the world is cruel. Be kind to those who are kind to you. Kill those who try to kill you. And when you are uncertain..." I smiled. "When you are uncertain, it's better to kill. Because that is the only way to ensure your own survival."

opening paragraph about sums up my two boys up.

One rainy evening, during the consommé, US Army Brigadier General Grant burst into the dining hall and threw a priceless vase to shatter against the swan ice sculpture centerpiece. “Were you planning on telling me that there are innocent people out in that storm, dying horribly in a shipwreck?”
Vespasian Eugene Xander, who hated all of his names, and preferred to be mentioned in polite conversation as His Moste Dredd Sovereign the Evil Overlord, stacked another olive onto the toothpick man he was building in his martini.
“Wrong answer, Eugene.” Grant unholstered his .45 auto, aiming it at the deepening crease between Xander’s eyes. “Get in the car. You’re going to save them.”

My short stories don't have a single character, but the book I'm working on does, Her summary would be:
I don't trust or like people. They have given me every reason not to. Yet I feel a need for contact with them. It drives me to keep trying when I have all the proof to the contrary.

Oooo sure, sounds like fun! This is a good one that encapsulates Eory:

The second emotion was something of a mystery to her and it made her eyebrows soften as well as her expression. She was enticed by his shy and sweet nature; she had never met someone like that. She thought that if he were strong and confident, cynical and knowledgeable, he would lose that kindness and innocence.

Some of these are still in the script but eh...

Claudia, early in the story: "I am not Carla Luna!"
and later: "Oh, so you want me to be Carla Luna? Well then..."

Desquicio, early in the story: "Human can feel emotions. Most are just superficial nonsense, but others are too perfect to let them vanish [and therefore I have to collect them]"
and later: "Meh..."

The madman, at any time point in the story: "Let's have a party! Because I'm the captain of this ship and all of you are cucumbers, except you, you're a yellow cucumber. Wait, why am I a mosquito? Doesn't matter, excuse me, I need a donut..."
(the only difference could be how much the environment gets affected by his nonsense)
