Opinion on pixelated lines

A friend of mine said the pixelated line art in my comic "looked unprofessional".

As a random Jo Schmo independent artist, and not a professional, I don't care about that. But the comic isn't for me, it's for general audiences.

You're the perfect people to ask because you are all webcomics connoisseurs as creators and readers.

Genre preferences aside, would this turn you off from reading the comic?

Looking for honest opinions. You don't have to worry about protecting my feelings. It will take no effort to work on a bigger canvas if it is deemed necessary.

I think it looks fine, mostly because it works with your artstyle!
But I like a wide variety of styles, so maybe I can't give you the view of the general audience.

I love the pixelated line art look. It goes well with your cartoony artstyle, makes me think of the artwork in the GBA WarioWare games.

My most popular comic is not only pixelly, but also sketchy as hell, and I've never had any complaints:

And I agree that the pixels work well with your artstyle. It's really up to you to decide what resolution you're most comfortable working in.

If the art is nice, I don't think it matters. It does give it a retro internet look to it. There are also series like Homestuck that used it and sort of incorporated it to the style of the overall series.

I like it, it compliments your style. Most readers probably won't be bothered by little things like that!

Pixelated art does not bother me. Some artists make pixelated art their whole thing. Google "Diesel Sweeties" for an example.

In your examples it doesn't bother me and on this format (tapas) it's kinda hard to avoid given some of the restriction on format and such. There is a risk of it being a distraction form whatever story you're trying to get a cross so I think that's something to keep in mind.
