In this thread we don't judge. Well, not in a mean way I hope.

I don't mean the first draft/manuscript for your current work, the first version of the story, that old short story that you're still pretty proud of - I mean the stuff hidden away in your hard drive, otherwise only meant for your eyes. Probably best to not post the whole thing, excerpts/less risky highlights will take up less space in both regards, but let's see your first serious attempt, that you once posted somewhere (friends or public) with a glimmer on your eyes.

I've got no novel examples that are longer than a sentence unfortunately (most is in portuguese and translating it would remove the essence of beginner), but I still have a piece of a comic that I used for a contest long ago.

I managed to copy the previous frame and forget parts of the drawing, oh god.

I will be posting here once I get back to my laptop, so look forward to that I guess.

Same, though I think only one hard drive actually went down before I could back up. A lot of things were lost just by thinking I'd never look back, but now I kinda want to (or wish I saved as a screenshot) :cry_02:

Ok so I've only really ever done one comic but heres the earliest iteration I have saved of the first page Vs. the current version of the first page:

Heres the comic if that intruiges you, I've been working on it for almost 3 years!

Also heres a post i made about early concepts for the comic that got scrapped, Including a even older art style:

The oldest thing I've got (that didn't end up in the fireplace ;p) would be the first iteration of Vampire Prince back from 2009

current version for comparison

Oof Iemme see

I haven't done much comic-ing before my current project, and it never was longer than a couple pages but when I was... 10?? Or so I tried this very amazing humor comic about two siblings which wouId be many books long and... Only ended up being 3 pages long x'D

Some years later, in 2016, I did this short comic which was some stips Iong with my sis. That was a Iot of fun and made me regain interest in comic making <3

It's extremely absurd. I'd qualify it as cringy but I think I Iost the hability to feel cringe long ago x'D. I had a blast with my sis, experimented a lot and made something quite fun if you don't take it seriously (which is what it was intended for).
