Drew some silly images for my Inksgiving Thank you page. Including a Monkey (fish?) saying thank you!

And my adorable Tristan who is definitely gonna get tortured- I mean totes not tortured by the end of the story...

That's just pure and precious. Please sell that framed in a gold plaque and seek it please.

made some structural tweaks I wanna start playing around with fabrics now that I'm a bit more confident with my approach. (gonna post one with a background on my wall for my supporters)

I’ve been able to get back into drawing. (Had a medical mishap this week, so I haven’t been doing much.) But I was able to draw the main crew in my comic brandishing grape soda! Who doesn’t like grape soda? (I actually HATE it, but my brother loves it. So I’ve made it the staple energy drink of my main crew.)

More environment studies! Credit to Art Camp/Noah Bradley for the reference photos~ Now I just need to figure out how to simplify and stylize environments so that they could actually work in a comic. I'm studying animation backgrounds which has been helpful.

I like how you emphasize the lighting in a way that still implies texture. The bottom right seems simplified without losing detail.

Thank you~ Yeah I think with comics you get pretty good at designing light and shadow since you're so limited in values and time. I'm kinda lazy so its like "ahh what are the biggest shapes I can use here so I don't have to render all these details" and after that its mostly just playing with texture brushes lol.
