Oh hey there! I think I'm one of your subscribers to Ivory Weald (although I think I found it after it stopped).

Since it's a decent chance you're into fantasy drawn with markers, maybe you'd enjoy my comic, Renegade Legends. I only have a portion of Chapter One up so far, which focuses Adi, one of the two main characters. When I get there, Chapter two will deal with the other MC, Koreal, and then further chapters will start to intertwine their stories. For now though...

Chapter one summary: Adi is the only person in her village who can't use magic, and no one knows why -- although none of the theories are positive ones. She wants to escape the village and travel with her sweetheart, Amrun, but Fate has other plans for her, and one afternoon changes her life forever...

Piper Collins becomes a ranger entirely by accident, and is thrust into the advent of a war fifty thousand years in the making, trying to work with aliens who are still debating amongst themselves over whether or not to destroy her planet of backwards uncivilized barbarians. The truth about her own planet's history, the reasons for this war, and of what may be lurking beyond the barriers of our very existence, are all the key to surviving what's to come, but those all amount to nothing next to the looming existential dread of getting to know her dad's new girlfriend.

Please feel free to give me whatever critique you'd like. This comic is designed with speed in mind, so I'm well aware the drawing is pretty sloppy in places. Even so, I'm always looking for ways to improve, both as a writer and a draftsman.

Hey there!! It's nice to see you again, too!
I've been doing as well as I could -- struggled with a lot of IRL issues and thus fell off the face of the earth for a little while, and in the meantime did a lot of soul searching in an attempt to find a digital style that works for me that I want to use for comics (still working on that, but I think I'm finally making progress!).
I'm doing a bit better now, though, so I'm trying to get myself back into my hobbies, interests, and communities! My boyfriend has been working on developing his own comic, too, and that's gotten me interested in trying to finally get back to working on my own... it might be a while until I have anything to show for it, but baby steps!

I've actually also been doing a lot of soul searching regarding my work and my relationship with it as well coincidentally. Recently finished up an EGT comic project and now have been planning on taking a break to polish up my art skills and figure out just want I want to do with my life going forward in general, actually. Hopefully I'll figure things out soon enough.

Hello hello, here I am with some praise for you!

• The background work is phenomenal! You put so much effort and love into each and every one of your environments, and it shows -- they greatly serve to enhance the narrative and add an immersive richness to your comic.
• I really like your character designs. They're relatively simple designs and therefore easy to draw repeatedly, but they're all unique and distinct from each other where I can pretty easily tell each character from the others without having to think about it at all. Also, they're just overall aesthetically appealing.
• I think you did a great job weaving some lore-building into your prologue and making it actually feel like part of the story, rather than just info dumping. I normally turn away from stories that begin with a history lesson, but you managed to include it in a way that enriches the story and directly impacts our understanding of Adi and her culture. I could easily understand how this information was necessary to understanding the story from the very beginning.
• I think your pacing is quite good! It doesn't feel too slow, nor does it feel rushed and like too much is happening too quickly. Happy medium!

I don't have much in the way of critique right now because I was pretty pleased with what I read (and, admittedly, my brain is in praise mode, so I'd really have to be looking extra hard for criticism -- also, there are some things I want to see develop further before I make any comments on them), so my best advice would just be to keep up the great work and strive to always improve on what you're doing! I think you're off to a great start, and I applaud your marker work because I know just how much effort it is -- I look forward to seeing how you develop further!

Its my first time making webcomics, the project started as an action-horror videogame idea. The game concept now serves as the in-world rules. Tried to give the visuals a videogame appeal too.

Og Game Concept

the player was the carrier of a virus that would infect and mutate nearby lifeforms into monsters. The monsters would in turn attack the player and groups of infected (multiples of 5) would stack to create deadlier foes (similar to the Thing) and increase the game difficulty. Another condition the player experienced was the ability to control states of matter (liquid, solid, gas), something to be mastered overtime.

The comic follows two brothers Owen (12) and Evan (21) who gain unusual abilities after hearing a strange Hum one night. The downside of their condition is that anyone else who comes into close proximity, instantly mutates into horrific monsters. They unwillingly cause an outbreak. Their condition acts like a double edge sword and they must better understand their skills in order to survive. Situations occur where they try to rescue survivors while also try to avoid infecting them. They'll eventually learn that there are others who share their condition and not all of them have good intentions.

Additional details

The heart of the story is the brothers' kinship, their teamwork and growth overtime. Superpowers range from gross, surreal and creepy, and characters are a mixture of fantasy classes, superheroes and martialartists. (A little disclaimer is that the dad and big brother have an argument early in the story, its a story of forgiveness too and the father comes around much later.)

My webcomic is a fantasy story about a long war between human beings and a race of monster-taming, magic-using shapeshifters. The main character is the only human being who's also a mage, but instead of take part in the war, he travels to desert regions and lives as a storyteller. The people he'll meet there will try to convince him to help them out, but he has something to hide.

I uploaded only two chapters so far, so the story has just begun, I'm sorry for that! If you're going to read it anyway and you have some critical feedback in mind, please don't hold back!

Synopsis: In an age where darkness threatens humanity, a terrible accident forever changes the lives of the two brothers Frederick and Nigel. After three long years, they are met by a strange yet eccentric individual who seems to know a lot about their past. Follow the adventures of Frederick and Nigel in their quest to defeat the evil and rescue their loved ones.

I wanted some honest feedback on the story, the characters and the art. Be as honest as you want, because I wish to improve as an artist and I want to use critiques to grow. Feel free to read as many episodes as you desire, you're not forced to go all through with it.
The part that concerns me the most about my comic is the beginning, in particular, the first chapter. I keep asking myself "Is it a strong start? Does it lack something? Is the pacing of the story good?" and that's why I keep thinking to myself that I want to remake the entire first half of the story.

Synopsis: Space Pirate takes place in the distant future in our galaxy. An evolutionary branch of humans collectively known as space pirates has shown up, and are generally known as terrorists with supernatural abilities - inhuman strength, magic etc. On the other side, an empire called Blue Sun controls the galaxy and has figured out how to use magic for their strongest soldiers despite them not being space pirates. Naturally, this has led to a socio-political mess where imperial propaganda against space pirates is used by Blue Sun to leverage more power. This story focuses on a particular space pirate who's been dragged into a conflict pitting him against Blue Sun.

Feel free to be critical. I generally know the flaws and pros/cons of the first few episodes, but I don't get as much feedback usually on what goes on after that.
