Ozwald: you do mine and I do yours, big guy?
Higen: sure, go ahead!
Ozwald: looks Hiegn up and down Well the obvious answer is a gorilla
Higen: Ozwald!!! that is not true, the ever reliable test known as "What animal are you" said Lion!
Ozwald: I know I'm kidding, you indeed are like a lion but also like a golden retriever, you are courageous and strong like a lion and very loyal and happy like a golden retriever, and I do believe you would bite someone that is mean to me, okay now do me
Higen: Okey squints at Ozwald I would put you in between cute as a kitten and adorable like an otter.
Ozwald: face fully red Higen you can´t just-
Higen: shuus is still my turn, you are like a kitten because you are very graceful and quick, and like an otter because you look really pleased when you do things you like, and your go-to when someone is being mean to me is hissing
Good at flirting?
Carmen/Thunder Chicken: Oh, God, no. This is actually a running joke in Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days. I am notoriously bad at flirting, both at doing it and at recognizing when it is being done to me
Daecon: I am the king of flirt. I've never left the bars disappointed.
Good singer?
Thunder Chicken: If there are no laws preventing me from singing, there should be. I am simply awful.
Daecon: I can hold my own at karaoke night. I've written a few songs but nothing has been published.
Fashion statement?
Thunder Chicken: I am rare among gay men in that I do not give a rat's patootie about fashion. Never have. If I'm not dressed in black (because I tend to do things that get me dirty, such as working on cars, building houses, etc) I'm wearing camouflage (I am also an avid hunter).
Daecon: I have recently been introduced to the wonder that is 1980's fashion. Tie die, bright colours, acid wash, tight jeans, I love it all!
12: What makes you laugh?
Melissa: Myself lol. I know I know I should say my husband or my family, but really I'm just such an out of pocket little thing I can't help it. I leave myself in stitches. I love my husband loads but he's such a serious person and my Drigito is just like him. I love my sisters too, and my mamale and bubbe, but honest their all so much more mature than I'll ever be they're always telling me "Melly you have to calm down - you fly by the seat of your pants - you're like mentos and coke - a caffeinated squirrel in the Palmers peanut factory." I'm everywhere all the time all at once. I'm just too much, but I love me that way, and so does my family though they complain a lot too, I can't blame them I mean I'd wear myself out if I didn't have so much energy.
Alicia: I laugh a lot watching the little webdramas I'll see on YouTube. Lots of K-drama clips, and segments from shows like "Friends" and "Blackish," and some Netflix series too. I've never actually watched "Friends." I know it's basically a crime if you watch television. I love "Mad About You," though, it's probably my absolute favorite, it's just so sweet and funny at the same time. It's not good for you if you're single though cuz it'll make you want to get married.
Jinho: Webcomics that I'll read, mostly in Korean. I don't usually watch comedy series, but the ones I read will often have comedy moments, and those'll make me laugh pretty regularly.
Andrew: I follow a lot of comic strips online like "Crab Grass" "Fox Trot" "Adult Children." Those always make me crack up. They're the best. Reading comics is really a hole though, because I never want to wait for them to stock up. I'll take an afternoon and then binge read all the ones I hadn't read yet, and then there's only like two or three comics a week, but that's like eating one potato chip at a time. I have to find more comics I like, but fortunately I don't spend a lot of time online anyway. Talking to Jinho makes me laugh a lot too.
Jinho: why would talking to me make you laugh? Are you laughing at me?
Andrew: no, I just enjoy being around you, plus you're not nearly as stoic as you pretend to be. He's really quite hilarious when he stops trying to pretend he's Scrooge incarnate.
Kattar: I don't read or watch a lot of comedy, but I guess I'm with Jinho, it's usually the funny parts of the Netflix and Hulu series I watch that'll make me laugh. I like "Blackish" too though. I've never seen "Mad About You."
Alicia: What? What nonsense are you wasting your time on?
Kattar: Anything with a car chase scene.
Alicia: (rolls her eyes.)
Kattar: But hanging out with Alicia often makes me laugh too, just when we tease each other.
Alicia: That's true. I think it's pretty normal for people to laugh when they're around their friends, even with things aren't that funny honestly.
HIgen and Ozwlad look at each other and then point at each other
Ozwald: It crakes me up whenever Higen starts to talk in archaic English, or whenever his Knightisums come out, I know is a little mean but I can't take it. Higen is a genuinely nice person who will never use swear words but when he gets close... ajaja-hahaha, he gets all red but manages to not lose his cool is so funny to me! HAHAHAH.
HIgen: I would normally feel offended by such a remark made to mine way of speaking, but I also laugh at your antics so we can call it even, whenever Ozwald flusters or panics makes me smile and laugh there was this time were he... je...hahaha, he got his hands stuck on a necktie and I... HAHAHAHA it hurts it was so funny!!!
13
The cursed question.
How attractive are you?
Jinho: 13.
Andrew: Out of a hundred? Don't be like that.
Jinho: (dryly) Out of ten.
Andrew: OHHHH.
Alicia: Probably like a 7.
Jinho: (coughs into his fist.)
Kattar: What? if we're assuming that 1 is, subjectively, a face only a mother could love, seven is barely above average.
Alicia: Oh, I thought 1 was just average. If one is subjectively ugly, then maybe I'm an 8?
Kattar: (puts his face in his hands.)
Jinho: Try 11 and you'd be closer to the ball park, lady.
Andrew: Or 17.
Alicia: the question is from 1 to 10 we have to stay within the numbers we were given.
Kattar: Actually no, no we don't.
Jinho: Do you even think you're pretty or not?
Alicia: I know I'm pretty I'm just not Rihanna. That's not the same thing as being ugly.
Kattar: Well, I think I'm probably like a 30, 35.
Alicia: (frowning) Okay, that's just being obnoxious.
Kattar: (smiling sweetly) And yet you wouldn't try to deny it.
Alicia: (rolls her eyes, sighing exasperatedly) next question.
Leia: Probably like a 5 or a six?
Riley: what who?
Leia: Me. I think i'm probably like a five or a six.
Riley: what with 1 being average or one being ugly?
Leia: I don't know, ugly I guess. I think I'm pretty average.
Riley: Yeah I don't think so. You're at least an 8.
Leia: (chokes on air) I am not an 8. 8 is like random extras in the back of an episode of a Disney sitcom. I'm not an 8.
Riley: Do you ever look in the mirror, or is it too foggy from you using up all the hot water? Anyway, I'm probably like a 3 or a 4.
Leia: Now we're gonna fight.
Ozwald: I would say... 5 out of 10 honestly I would say lower but my confidence has been improving lately
Higen: I don't like to rank myself because that's something that happens with nobility people always rank you
based on your body, face, or wealth, I think I´m going to pass on this question...
Ozwald: come on big guy cheer up if you ask me you are a 10/10 on being yourself and that's all people should ask of you
Mrs Moon: I shower twice a day. Once in the morning before I get ready for work and once in the evening when I'm done with my work. I don't shower immediately when I get home because I'll often have video calls to do with some of my staff or digital meetings with people in other parts of the world where it's still standard work hours, so I usually change at around 9 p.m. My clothes I change daily. BUT, I do have a lot of suits that aren't meant to be washed too consistently, the blouses are changed each day however.
Mrs. Moon: Ugh. ticks. I never go camping and I rarely go into tall grass or forested areas of any kinds, but I learned about Lyme disease when I was a girl and now I'm always worried about those little demons.
Mrs. Moon: Cold cereal isn't really meant to be eaten. It's all chemicals and sugar without much benefit to it. I never eat it myself and I never let my precious Kitty Kat eat it either. We did have granola occasionally, and in that case the cereal goes first. It needs all the time it can in the milk to not be so terribly hard, and it never truly gets soggy either.
Mrs. Moon: Of course, queridita. It's like all those emotional movies you'll watch set around WW2 with the women at home working farms and receiving letters from their husbands away at the battle front. It's a very real genre in my opinion.
Mrs Moon: No to leather. Just no. Never ever. Sequins are fine but their awfully risky as it's too easy to just have the piece ruined if they fall out and I'd rather not risk it.
Mrs Moon: I don't have one honestly. I consider being organized, self motivated and hard working attractive traits but I have no interest in a lover of any kind.
Mrs. Moon: This is not easy to judge, but I suppose Billie Holiday. Both me and mi preciosa, my little genius love her music so much. I shared her with Licia the first time and now she just loves her music. I've been listening to her myself for almost as long as I can remember.
Mrs. Moon: I suppose I'm tolerable, my love, but I really don't know. I can be good at anything if I put my mind to it but I have no need to.
Mrs. Moon: Somewhat. I don't care for it very much, so I don't do it often, but I do occasionally just for birthday parties and such. I work most of the time and when I play music I tend to listen to it very low, and since I use my voice so much when around others and at work it's best to let it rest sometimes.
Mrs. Moon: I love the color purple, and I like velvety things, and lace and ribbons. I love tying my hair up with something chic and silky and when I was younger I was quite into hoop earrings. Now I tend toward smaller hoops, lace on my blouses and silver watches. there's certainly a limit as I spend most of my time in professional settings, but these are my loves. I just love all pretty things so much.
Mrs Moon: If I was anything I think I would be a white house cat. I love everything to be sleek and graceful about me, and also very pristine. Many other animals are just too too dirty. But I had a cat of my own one, her name was Calla, and she was the dearest.
Melissa: Sometimes my little darling will say the most random things to me that are just so cute and funny. And my little secretary as well. They are all so precious, I can't help but smile and laugh sometimes when they're with me, so I suppose sweet things make me laugh, though I'm sure that's not what most people would say.
Mrs. Moon: I'm sure I don't know my love, another question.
14 What is your comfort thing? What is your "zen work" you can do no matter how bad you're feeling?
Kattar: Mmm, probably playing on my Gameboy. I can just zone out when I do it and not think about anything, so it's pretty relaxing when I'm not having the best day. My zen work used to be cleaning. I don't mind vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen or the bathroom. I could just be alone in my thoughts while I did that without having to think about making sure I was doing it right. Now it's probably video editing. Occasionally I hit tricky parts where I have to stop and think about what I'm doing to make sure I;m doing it right, usually when it's an aesthetic debate between two options trying to figure out what looks best. But I've been editing videos for 17 years, so it's basically a no brainier now.
Alicia: My comfort thing is taking a bubble bath. It just helps me relax and relieve tension, and I like looking at all the little colors you find in bubbles, just playing with bubbles in general. I know it's weird at my age, but it's just the truth. Especially when I put tea in the water, then it just smells so heavenly.
Kattar: And you smell like tea for like a day afterward.
Alicia: (pouting slightly) As if that's a problem. My "zen work" is probably painting. I know I'm lucky, but unless I'm painting peonies, I can basically paint whatever I like without thinking too hard about it, and just enjoy myself. Even when I hit a tricky part, I enjoy reworking the picture until it turns out the way I like. Some days I just get stumped and nothing satisfies me, but I've been told even the paintings I think are turning out garbage are really pretty so...
Andrew: Carpentry. Every part of it is relaxing to me. From the smell of the wood, to measuring, painting, sanding. When I'm creating the designs myself, drawing out my sketches for the project. The only non-relaxing part is trying to figure out the cost of any project I design with Jinho. I still don't understand how I'm supposed to calculate how much my TIME costs. But carpentry is both my comfort thing, and my zen work. I feel like it brings me closer to my dad.
Jinho: My comfort thing is probably cooking. I enjoy it, and it's not that hard for me, so it's probably also my zen work. Numbers are never zen, because I have to make sure i'm paying careful attention the whole time. The last thing we need is a misplaced decimal.
Leia: My comfort thing is playing with and snuggling my sweet kitty Lord Licorice. My zen work would probably be things like raking the yard. It's not fun, but at least it's not stressful.
Riley: My comfort thing is probably just sleep. My zen work is homework though, it's not usually a struggle, and I don't have to think that much when I do it.

Ozwald: mine would definitely be sewing, it has this thing where if I had a bad day or I feel generally bad, picking up thread and needle makes me feel better, I don't necessarily need to make a new piece of clothing, just practicing patterns of sewing is enough to calm me down.
Higen: giving maintenance to my weapons and armor, not only is a must for anyone who likes their weapons to be sharp and in great condition but also relaxes you when you can see your face in the reflection of a well-sharped sword... I also like math
Ozwald:... what do you mean math?
Higen: I like the feeling that you get when you solve a long equation!!!
Ozwald: only you would feel calm around math
15: What would you wish for if you had three wishes?
Kattar: (gets really quiet.)
Alicia: Go ahead, Kat.
Kattar: I'd probably wish for the use of my legs back and...
Alicia: And?
Kattar: I don't have the right to wish away your relationship with Etan.
Alicia: (sighs exhaustedly) That's what I would use a wish for anyway.
Ozwald: ... can we not wish for the obvious one?
Higen: I agree, wishing for your mother to not have died of sickness and wishing for my father to not have died in battle would make us not know each other now... but maybe we could wish to have a day with them or something like that.
Ozwald: I agree, all right what do you wish for?
Higen: I always wished to have someone I could call friend with me but I already have that, oh I know I wish I could choose who I´m marrying in the future, I would wish for a kind soul with a heart of gold just like I did when I met you Ozwald.
Ozwald: damn it my wish is going to sound so selfish now... I would wish for the burn marks on my back to disappear or to be healed, so go ahead and say "You are being selfish Ozwald"
Higen: ... I don't think there's nothing bad with being selfish with a wish, a wish should be something you want from the bottom of your heart I would never judge you on that.
15: Favorite Songs
Andrew: Okay, so despite my love for Enrique Iglesias, if I were to pick one favorite, well, I can't, but one I'm liking a lot recently is "Ultimas Palabras" by Los Mesoneros.
Jinho: I just listen to whatever he's listening to
Alicia: Oooh, I love "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" a lot, but maybe "I'll Never Not Love You," by Michael Buble is my absolute favorite.
Kattar: "If I'm James Dean You're Audrey Hepburn" by Sleeping With Sirens all the way. Though one of my friends is part of a band, so maybe I should choose some of his music for my top ten at least.
Alicia: Yeahhhh...
Kattar: I'm sorry, they're good, just not my personal style. Their song "Honey" is very well written. So somewhere in the long list of songs I respect is "Honey" by Holy Daye.
