Share Someone Else's Comic

So I love self-promotion as much as most do. But let's spread that love to the comic creators we love. There are some people here that have criminally low subs for the quality of creator they are.

I'll start out with Rod Espinosa. Rod is quite simply one of the most influencial comics creators to me as a kid. I look at my politics, my taste in comics, my love of flying clipper-ships, and my love of female protagonists and I can point it straight to a comic from Antarctic press called Neotopia.

Why do I bring him up? because I found out he is now doing webcomics on Tapas and is horribly underrated. His art has only gotten better. Check him out!

aw man, just one?? okay...

hadephobia is brilliant. very well written & laid out, with a great art style - about some depressed mutant kids journeying through hell to find answers about their past. seeing this comics updated always makes me smile

I second Hadephobia. 10/10 comic gem.

Here's my recommendation though:

@phenylketonurics is making one of THEEE BEST comics on this site, their panel structure ALONE is worth checking the comic out for, but on top of that it's full of little details and secrets that really encourage devouring the excellent art work and unique style, the story is confusing in all of the right ways and takes some of the wildest twists and turns you will ever see.

SO YEAH. That's the end of my Fan Rant.

I think Mallory Bash is incredibly underrated - super expressive characters and a deep theme inside what looks like a fairly simple comic. Also, the coloring has just gotten better and better.

Well, my favorite comic here right now: Blank Scroll, if you like whimsical fantasy, it's whimsical as heck. Also super cute.

And on the opposite side of the spectrum: Mayor Montenegro. Very 1970s psychedelic fantasy feel to it, basically like something out of Heavy Metal.

I also recommend Major Montenegro. This isn't getting enough attention.

Oh, definitely Hominids. It's super, super high quality, and the fact that it hasn't broken 1000 subs yet is just awful. It's like a full graphic novel quality!
