I remember being upset that Tapas had the upload glitch in the last thread and didn't bother posting the maps, now it's best to post them in full. Well, like before, I used Azgaar's generator to make the borders and rough rivers, then added what else I wanted and made my own landscapes.

As Aeolia are floating islands stacked on top of each other, there's no sea, and the rivers just randomly end at the barriers. The map doesn't list every relevant location (and for the better, I moved some names and locations around from my notes), but the rough places of interest.

Mines still a big work in progress but I spent a lot of time making it! It's obviously just Europe broken up but that may also change eventually. Most of the names are just silly references since I'm Swedish and my co-writer Spanish.

I have a lot of different stories taking place in the different places but my comic right now takes place in central and northern Agiasias (Orpington and Whimborne).

Not based on specific plants (although I do get inspiration from real plants and how they adapt to conditions such as high salinity, here), but yes for the special ecology. I did not have the time to put much of that in my comic yet, but there will be more in a next chapter as well as in extras. There is a whole specific food chain with evolutive adaptations having repercussions on the rest of the chain etc. Later on, I have a whole ecosystem living in a marsh high in sulphur around a volcano, where plants and animals developped various ways to store or excrete the sulphur from their body. This kind of things :grinning:

My whole comic takes place in an alternate universe ancient Greece so I'm basically bastardizing Mycenean names all over the map. Which in this panel is hiding the bulk of the city-states but my characters aren't there yet!

I made it too big and couldn't figure out how to make it smaller while still getting the shape I wanted.

Set it in the power point, make it smaller an save as picture by right click.

We had a map of Egypt featured in Chapter 1 to indicate that the team is travelling to Aswan.

Here is my ultra lame, uncolored, unlabeled map of Kéhuégonéa.

Or, what's left of it anyways. The island bits are just peaks that managed to stay above water level as it rose from massive amounts of debris in the ocean. Literally every other continent on the planet was destroyed via supernatural means, and what didn't disappear without a trace sunk into the ocean, leaving scattered "Atlantis' " everywhere. Kéhuégonéa is all that is left on the planet so it has since adapted the same name. They struggle with resources due to being self-contained, so much of their civilizations are either powerless or powered via magic, wind, or water.

You can imagine Kéhuégonéa as the New Zealand of your nightmares. And it's bigger than Africa.
