So if you've seen my comic, City of Blank36 at all, you probably know I have a thing for masks. I love them! So much I made a whole comic about them!

So show me your masked characters! I'm a sucker for any character in a mask.

Here are mine (Who are the main characters of my comic):

Stormspectrum is actually a comic about characters that get elemental powers by wearing masks. Most of my main character therefor wear masks half of the time. When wearing a mask, you get a outfit, become stronger, more agile, and aquire a element. Your eyes will take the color of the element you use.

After years of self-experimentation and mutilation, Ikkashi now wears a mask that both conceals his face and acts as a respirator of sorts that helps him breathe. It's also got a voice modulator built in.

Great characters everyone! : D I love your mask designs!

For Raven Wolf

(These are two 'fictional character' from a TV series that supposed to be very popular with the kids in 'Raven Wolf'

For No Future

Jonny Regionson Jr. puts on his green mask to become The J-Man1, fighting crime to uncover the secretive "Big-Man of Crime". Though you could say his mind is a metaphorical mask, hiding the alien creature he merged with in his subconscious.

Also, it's not techincally a mask, Val Mobela does use her magic to make her unrecognizable as The Valve, Bane of Shadows.

I really like characters with full masks. This is one of my masked characters.

This guy will appear in a later chapter of my comic.

Didn't really start this project yet, but I have an oldie I want to re-make and design the characters with their faces hidden behind the masks
.

@Riko I LOVE the girl on the right with the white mask. XD Something about her just screams fun character!

@jutawi Sanguine I think is my favorite! Though I'm biased towards skulls. lol

@kurapikasuki that top one is badass! <3

I have two masked characters, Koko wears his to avoid his cute face (cause he is an adorable birb) and he wants to be taken seriously.

Ahk wears his as part of a contract. The inside has a seal on it and he cannot take it off or he'll get sick and die for breaking a contract.

Okay! : D

These are Haruna and Taro (names courtesy of one of my excellent Patreon-backers!) are masked when they first appear in part 5 of Grassblades, as are at least 50% of the people in the festival-crowd around them.

I have a soft spot for masks, especially ones that lack visible eye-holes. I'm not really sure why, but I like playing, storywise, with the erasure of identity that comes with being completely masked like that. <3 It also lets me temporarily circumvent my weirdo partial face-blindness.

This is Jayu from Lemongrass, the same guy as featured in my icon. The masks he wears are technically part of a cultural tradition, but they're not intended for wearing every day as he does.

My main character (on the left), when she's in her thief outfit, has a bird-like mask, which also goes with a coat made of feathers. In their world there's also an organisation of professional avengers, called the Silver Masks- and they have masks like that girl on the right c:
