Looking fancy.
We do new character sheets every issue/chapter, because characters change their clothes/hair and it helps us keep track of design progress on The Sisters. Actually just finished off our sixth issue and now we've got the designs for the seventh.
From our third issue [Erin, Beatrice, Jam, Scott, Connor], when things were a bit less defined. Connor and Beatrice got a bit more shapely, whereas Jam and Erin are pretty much as they've always looked.
The fourth issue, "The Long Night" introduced a wider cast. Erin got to be happy for once. Beatrice had work, and Jam only had a bit part.
Scott had to have a slightly more relaxed look to him, Connor was just dressed different, and Sammy got a bit more porked up and round. Craig got better defined as Zak Bagins meets Gamagori when it comes to body-type.
Handsome Dan got introduced, Peebs got a bit part, the Night Manager got introduced, and The Shapeshifter.
Our fifth issue, "The Consequences" was a bit brighter. Which is funny. The outfits were mostly split along the lines of BBQ and screwing around in the woods for a crummy Ghost Adventures-type show. Also brought back Orea (pale and purple), Delk (hawaiian shirt), Martha (old black lady) and Walter (white guy blue shirt) plus the family dog, Klaxton. Style has definitely gotten less shapes upon shapes and a bit more organic.
Issue Six, "The Monster" was a bit darker. Jam goes back to school after Spring Break and most of the cast attends a wake. The Night Manager is back, as is Douglas from our second Issue who had all of two lines. We just finished that issue last night actually. I kind of like the color choices here, makes me think of the Bob Newhart Show. Chel, the girl next to Sammy, was introduced for a bit part which will be developed on in the next issue we're doing.
Outfits and designs for the new issue, "The Secrets" which we start with next week. Erin tries to relax, Beatrice gets her personal space invaded with good intentions, and Jam commits a felony.
It helps a lot to redesign parts of the characters every couple dozen pages, just to keep things going and progressing. Clothes and hair change dependent on the situation, after all.
@Agentfink, I'm digging your style and will def give your stuff a read.
