Super Smash Bros. 4

Hiya, everyone. I am new to these forums but have been lurking around on the main site for a little while. Frankly, I am rather hesitant and shy to comment and message people, but I decided to leave my comfort zone a bit by posting here; perhaps things will become better in the future.

Anyways, I am posting here (obviously) about Super Smash Bros. 4 (SSB4 or Sm4sh for a shorter variation).

How many of you play Sm4sh, either the Wii U version or 3DS? For those who play, what character(s) do you often choose to play as?
For me, I enjoy playing as a number of characters but especially Captain Falcon and Little Mac.

If anyone would like a match, feel free to send me a message so we can set up. And if anyone else would like to share friend codes, go ahead; smashing is fun with people.

I play occasionally, I'm not a fan of Wii U's online play so I don't really play online. My favorite characters are Ness, Lucas, Lucina, Robin, Toon Link, and Ryu.

I have been thinking about picking it up because I love all the new characters they added, but I'm poor and also need to spend every conscious hour working so... probably not a good idea yet, haha.

My main is villager but i'm also really good with marth and zelda. robin, alph, mewtwo, wii fit trainer and wendy are fun too but i'm not that good with those

I'm a big fighting game fan, so I'm loving Ryu in Smash Bros. I have to say my favorite characters to pick are Samus, Mega Man, and Fox. I will say that while I have fun playing it, it's the only "fighting game" that I NEVER seem to win at.

I play occasionally Smash Bros Wii U, but I didn't unlock a lot of characters (and it's a shame, but I don't have time..). For now I like Robin and the wii fit trainer for the new characters. Wii fit trainer is just... fantastic. XD
For the others, it's Marth, Zelda and Kirby.

Anyways, for those who have the Ryu DLC, how is he? I have seen gameplay videos, but I would like to get people's opinions anyway.

Seems like a number of you play Sm4sh on Wii U, so you guys probably could play some matches or something. Only 3DS for me, unfortunately, but have a screenshot.

My and my brother finished Smash 4 classic and all-star together. We tried to do online battles but we got our asses handed to us XD
I think I mostly play as Mario, Toon Link, Zero-Suit Samus, Sonic and Wii Fit Trainer. I like all the characters ('cept Dark Pit. GOD! What a waste of coding he is.)

Hiya, everyone. I am still alive.

Anyways, on July 31, Sm4sh was updated to version 1.1.0.
With the update came a lot of buffs to characters (although a few were nerfed), one of the most notable buffed characters being Wii Fit Trainer.

Marth and Robin received buffs as well. Does anyone here have tips for playing as Robin or Marth? I want to pick up the former and relearn the latter.

Oh, and recently, I have been working on my Little Mac, so if anyone wants a tip or two or wants to play a few matches, feel free to ask.

ah i love smash! I play on the 3DS. My #1 main since melee has been Bowser.....HES JUST SOO AWESOME. But i also really like Link and Lucina

The fact that Roy is back just makes me want to play Smash bros again. So much memories on Melee.
The poor thing is that I can't play with friends, so doing it all alone (other than the classical mode) is long. I liked the subspatial plot thing in Brawl, at least I was doing something XD And the fact that almost everyone is mute and all the characters together just made me squeeze.

Now I'm just struggling to unlock characters because, well... It's pretty long. But I like the little game they did on Wii U.

Anyways, I finally got some of the character DLC a few weeks back, specifically Ryu and Roy.
Roy is much better than his Melee incarnation in moves and looks, and Ryu is just plain fun albeit extremely difficult.

I will get Lucas eventually, and once he is released, I will get Cloud also. Those Limit Breaks look fun to use in combos.

I've played way more of the 3DS version though I do like being able to use a Gamecube controller on the Wii U version.

I play with Duck Hunt , he's the most interesting play-style to me(all the mind games) . MY secondary is Marth though and the only reason I love plying as him is cause it feels like I'm elegantly dancing on the stages. Roy just doesn't have THAT GRACE.

I grew up with Smash Bro's on the 64 and Melee on the Gamecube, and they were totally radical. I haven't played the newer ones, although I do have it for the 3DS. I bought the Link, Fox and Falco Amiiiiieieiiibo's just because.

So I suppose you could guess which characters I like to use XD
