Oh gosh @agentfink I love the emotion behind this page! It's so intense. All these close ups and then the long shot really help to set a mood. And the tonal work is on point! Great job all around.

Amazing job with the colors! I love your use of gradients and textures. You also draw hands and faces amazingly well and consistently. (I'm really bad at that so I'm always impressed by people who do it right). You've also done a great job of character development with very little space and dialogue. It's a great hybrid of both telling and showing.

It's the first time this character's power is shown off in the comic, so I tried to make it dramatic and attention-grabbing.

Whoa, heck yes, definitely attention-grabbing with the graphic illustration of the claw ripping up through the beast (of which, that guy's design is terrific!), intense stuff! Moving from the dramatic silhouette's frozen action scene to the stark white space focusing on the power unleashed is great pacing. And with the character counting, this is an exciting setup! Cool, detailed work, man!
And here is the most recent page, page 60, of There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T., focusing on a tense moment of one character trying to reach another only to be directed to his voicemail. BROTHERS.
I really like the tone of your colours. Is that person sniffing the blonde guys hair in the last panel? LOL looks like his nose is in his hair.

For context, NOVERIUM is a sci-fi series initially following a rescue mission to a prison outpost overrun by a zombie style contagion.
Here one of the infected members of the team is being killed by SAGONA, a mysterious convict who has teamed up with the rescue crew.

@monotone_ink wow that guy in the black cloak is kind of a jerk! Poor little kid =n= I really like your panel outlines and the texture of your art. There's a darkness and fragility to it that really mirrors the characters, I think. Nice work!

I think that @zerogravityfiction got skipped on accident! Her work definitely deserves some feedback before the thread keeps rolling on, so I'll jump in since I've already posted my newest page.
First off, NOVERIUM1 is cool. I love the idea and style of it. You are continually refining the art as you produce more pages, and man, that's awesome to see.
I love that we see more of that blend of sci-fi and mythos/magic in this page. You don't weigh us down with exposition about these races you've invented and what they are capable of, the reader is left to infer that in the story (or to go to your website to learn more in depth, without the lore pulling the reader out of the story). I really appreciate that. You have a great command over shading and contrast in your art, and your environments are really nice. When you do gore, even subtle gore, you do it well! The characters aren't too complex in how they are drawn, but they ARE distinct and very expressive, and that serves the story really well. Your paneling is also really very nice, and it creates a nice flow and pace for the story.
The one thing I'd love to see grow is the mastery of lettering. I think that more traditional speech bubbles with white tails will help make it more clear who is speaking and when. I can figure it out from the context of the story and knowing the characters, but it might make the at-a-glance reader have to think more than what's marketable.
But, again and most importantly, your work on this comic keeps getting better and better. Keep it up!

The comic is drawn by Betty Swagierczak (@bettyart on twitter) not myself. But I will pass that on, I think she's been improving with every page too, it's great to see! I write the comic story (and lore pages etc) and I do the lettering. I do find myself slipping up on the fonts and placements now and again, so I'll try to bear that in mind - thanks for the critique! I really appreciate you mentioned the lore pages on the website, I was beginning to wonder if people liked that feature
@Cielle love the page lots of background work that always takes an age to do so i will give that a mention.

@Damatris I always love your use of shadow! It's so admirable to keep such consistently fitting light sources. The flow of the page also works really well and lends to following the movement and action. I guess the only thing I'd say is that in the final three panels it looks like there's some sizing differences (mostly the sword prop looks smaller than it was in the previous panel if you compare it to the height of the boards). Nothing that detracts from anything though! Great work!!

First off, what a coincidence! Last night I grabbed a random character from the folder of characters people have given me for cameos in my comic and it just happened to be one of these guys! I'm excited to be drawing him! : D
Anyway, onto the actual page, it looks fantastic! Your pages look so clean yet they don't look empty or dull at all. I like the softer colors you use for this page up til we get to the pizza place, which looks very welcoming and totally a place I'd try. : P
I also like that I realized it was a bus they were standing in front of in this page, which I think is great considering I didn't know the context of this page and that door and background could probably easily be confusing if it wasn't pulled off as well as it was. Overall, great job!

Nice page dude! The colors are amazing and super crisp! I have a knack for silent pages that are well done and I really like this one because words are definitely not necessary for this page :3! I also have to note that you are very good with cityscape shots such as the one in the first panel, hell, you're actually just really good with architecture in general! It looks almost like this came out of an animated show or something. Great work!

Oh, this is another killer panel layout page for you -- excellent setting and scene establishment as you move us from macro to micro and slowly eliminate the details so we can focus on the conversation and gestural cues of the characters. That kind of attention is amazing. And as, always, your rendering is beyond tight. I seriously admire the details and beautiful, crisp semi-realistic depictions of the environments these characters are in. AND WHOA, double bubbles in the bottom panel sets and they play off the character's expressions effectively (the two with Howard shocked at Fink's call's hilarious, "FINK!"). Visual pleasure, your pages every time.
Little underwhelming to follow-up The Pale, geez! Here's page 62 of There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T.1, still in Jason's dorm room with these two sneaksters. Might've gone a little too bold with the angles here, too. Not my strong suite, heh!

@GFalconDX You've created very nice perspectiveson the this page, I also enjoy your shading and you succed very well in giving these characters a unique look. I might have to take after your shading of cloth because I'm at a loss for how to do that well. I feel like the dialogue in the third panel is a little off. Particulary the "Why are they always trying to start a war?!" and the reply to that "I don't think so, Brandon". I'd change what Brandon says there. Maybe to something like "Are they trying to start a war?!" or "Are they trying to strat a war again?!" depending on the context which I'm not sure about, so that piece of criticism may be moot depending on what's going on and the history here.
