@allenT omg these are absolutely great :heart_01:

@Lensing happy to hear your course is popular! :smug_01: the materials look really professional :relieved:
/me, secretly learning some German from them >D/

Thank you, I tried to come up with a super simple way to draw the torso and to get the proportions right
because that´s something I struggled with a lot when I tried to learn how to draw.

I don´t know if kids in other countries also play that drawing game, in germany it´s called "Das Haus vom Nikolaus"
Santa Claus house. Every kid knows it, you connect the lines without stoping and try to draw the house.
And that´s what my figure drawing technique is based on. 2 times the house without a roof.
The advantage of that is that every kid is familiar with it and I don´t have to tell them to draw squares or
something abstract like that

Thank you so much!! (I only just saw your message. New notifications :sob:)
@DelythThomasArt I love your horse dinosaurs!! Such a cool concept!
@tarraxahum I love how much each character stands out in the new version!
@rumpenstiltzkin Really love the hair swish on your mermaid animation. It's so cute!
@Calculus_Homework All of your sketches have such a good grasp on anatomy!

Sketching this out was a lot more of a challenge than I bargained for, but I think I got it to a point where it looks decent.

I want to be able to marker my characters directly without deformities one day

Footwear repairman, looks more like rat than weasel as designed

marker with highlighters looks so fresh. (camera couldn't capture the oversaturated orange)
(edit:fluorescent orange)

I don´t have much time for sketching and drawing right now because I´m color flatting illustrations for a book
right now. It´s a pretty good and easy job, it´s just super exhausting and it´s really hard for me to imagine
how people are able to do that for 8-10 hours a day.

And here is a quick sketch, I made a copy of a panel of a cartoon I saw online

@Calculus_Homework and you are rocking those character sheets!

@thepenmonster All metal build for art that's all metal!

@allenT Hey there, markers and fresh pencils! Those are looking seriously, seriously great- Love the weasel!

@Kelheor Sweet hugs!

@sartinjacqueline05 "Sassy baby" :joy:

@Lensing Agreed, I don't know how anyone can craw for 8 hours a day. That copy of a cartoon panel looks pretty great! I love the staging/action here

@bulgariansumo Watch your step! Really love the intensity of your lines and how appealing these characters are.

@Lunar-Turtle I would like to have your character on the right's star hoodie (as well as their disposition). Super cute.

@EncryptedWriting That update is clean and powerful.

@thepenmonster Pig hiding behind a column? Is this a governmental pork-cutting joke? Am I... a geezer if I got that?

@Headypigeon4180 have a feeling they'll make their own magic.

@amilcardraws Dang, look at that layout! I'm also getting really strong Comic-Zone™ vibes from that dude.

@simonitropunk Yeah foreshortening! There's some really nice movement here!

@bronte448 This pompom must be protected as much (if not mores) than the actual bees. One pollinates life, the other pollinates dreams.

So I originally thought that the joke of having a robot put on funny glasses (to be more "human") was a little lame at first, but it has quickly become one of my favorite running gags for my new comic.

And war-strategist "Jerry-Bot" makes me so happy. Dude is a nerd but is also all alpha-male (so of course he has Street Fighter™ arms and resembles Dick Cheney™)

I need to rethink those legs  but here’s a little sketch of Lupo racing around.

Anthro legs are so tough! The human heal/bone structure makes the most sense from a locomotion standpoint- but with Valor I did more of a wolf's foot. Each time I draw it I think- "well, good luck running with those." :joy:

Finally was able to finish the next page of my comic today! I really like how it came out

Yeah, I'm not quite sure either....

Okay, not a sketch, but a new piece of my process.

I'm working on pitching a series and dividing the various steps up on the cork board to keep myself motivated and organized.

First note on the board, reminding myself to breathe and enjoy the process. I don't suck. If I feel I do, I should just play music for a little while until I can turn it around (and then get back to work).

@Legendofgenii he's so precious :cry_01: but I see what you mean xD

@DanielRKM ah damn, that's a good note! So right. Best of luck with pitching! :hype_01:

I am kinda doing stuff but also kinda not because I am at low point, so I am also trying to make myself a bit happier :smirk:
