I realized that most of the forms and designs I actually fleshed out through coloring and reworking compositions, so there really wasn't much point in critiquing and analyzing my recent sketches. I think they do make pretty good reference warmups since I have bad consistency problems. It's been almost 2 years since I've worked on the actual comic so I wanted to thumbnail a panel idea in the same energy I left off with.

Dot is turning out cute as a button here, so I thought I'd share even though this is technically inks and not a sketch :blusht:

Also I had treatment for my injury today that involved needles getting stuck in the injured parts of the muscle in my neck and AAaaa so yeah I thought I could draw afterwards.

Nope, I cannot. The good news is they said they can literally see the problem on the ultrasound (a gigantic knot of badly-healed muscle) so... that's promising.

@Mallory Sorry to hear about your injuries. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it and you’re on your way to recovery :+1:

@Chita thank you! :smiley: I finally found the HSV sliders which is so much easier for my brain to handle than the wheel ><.

@wispysing thanks! :gun: :sunglasses:

@Mallory that Twitter post got me XD. My precious lmao. Glad to hear there's promising news!

I like seeing both! Nice work!

@Mallory Cute indeed! Awesome!

@DualDragons Really nice direction!

nice! hopefully working on art has been a bit of a distraction

I get that feeling. When my brother and I started watching One Piece, it felt like we watched nothing else for a whole year.

Ahh a wonderful Sanji! :heart_eyes: Great job - gotta love One Piece.
I've got a lot of catching up to do but gotta get back into reading it!

Some more sketches!

A break was nice and peaceful but am also glad to be back at my computer to doodle and work on my comics lol
