Ended up doing some reading/appreciation for core formed glass this morning - so cool! If I knew how long we will be hanging out in Abi's room I might model some in Blender but since I don't, did a study of one for today's sketch and will use something simpler for the comic.

Edit for any other ancient craft-curious: this one is based on this perfume bottle2 and if you want to see how they made this stuff here's a very short video.

Oof, mah boiiiii :heart_02:

@migxmeg wow that's some great rendering, I thought it was a photo :blank: the bright blue highlights look especially nice

Ooo thanks! Love the occasional material study to try to crack what makes it look like glass :smiley:

@migxmeg Wow, I love it!! I really thought it was a picture at first. The scratches and tiny drops of paint splashed around make it so realistic!!
@Kelheor I'm so in love with that tiny highlight in the eye :coffee_love:

@GingerLoge Follow your dreams!! :grin: that is ambitious, you got it.

@Kelheor the pencils look so good 🤩 I have to wonder if you plan those zig zags of lines down their face or if it happens naturally from your intuition. Looks :fire:.

@Chita yay, thank you!!

@mostpowerfrog yay, thank you for joining us!! Your oc looks so cool and I adore the mid tone color blocks/your style in general :heart_eyes:.

@nathanKmcwilliams awwww someday when I am home again on a Friday I'll ask for something wild :innocent:.

Dang! You have a lot of great shapes going on here. There's a crap-ton of appeal in this one.
