Oohhh yeah now that you mention it... didn't recognize them until you mentioned it. Love it. Your style makes them shine. (I think everyone pretty much got the feeling both characters had a thing going on).

Nah, I didn't recognize them because I saw the movie once but I can't say it was memorable story wise (for me). So it just slipped my mind that it was Raya. Once you mentioned the movie I remembered all characters and the weapons. Really liked the design and their personalities.

Did you watch honest movie trailers of Raya? 🤣🤣🥰

Thanks! When I'm sketching I like to have Jin Kim expression sheets close at hand (hence the Disney side of things/inspiration). And I really try to inject some of that personality/appeal into my drawings, and sometimes it feels like I come close. There's this beautiful, fleeting moment, early in the rough pencils, where I think "my god, I'm doing it, it's coming out exactly like I want it to-----wait. Oh no, NO! It's still me! It's STILL MEEEEEEEEEE! (and then I start shrieking and wake up the children).

@Kelheor tbh im having trouble with both I wanted their heads to be more tilted but they ended up kinda like a profile. Ill let it sit for now and hope ill be able to pick it up later with a fresh eye! Also thank u for the lovely comment
