Heya everybody!
Like yall in this forum, I love comics, all of them: digital ones, traditionnal ones, those adapted to tablets and phones and those which are not.
But, as a traditional artist using paint to create my comic, I find it difficult to come accross other all-traditionally colored stories and universes. On a few forum threads, like this one or this one, many people explain they do use traditional media, but mainly as a first step and/or to ink their pages.
What about full-color painted pages? If you know some comics that are traditionnaly drawn and painted, or if you draw and paint one yourself, please feel free to present it there and to explain your technique!
Here are some nice traditionnaly painted comics worth the look:
-
N.A.T.
http://tapastic.com/episode/6532727th Century, planet Novalennda. Earthlings and Novalians live together in peace, in this preserved world. The established balance is threatened by a nation thirsty of conquest and revenge. But the iiu is awakening, and is going to do everything to prevent a new war...
The art gets better and better as the story unfolds. The plot is very rich, full of characters you will love, or love to hate.
-Red and Cyan

Since the dawn of time a tower has stood in the centre of what is now called London. In this tower an angel and demon make a wager. This wager changes everything for a ghost named Alice. The demon, Cyan, asks Alice to be her messenger. Alice agrees on the condition Cyan grants her wish. Alice must discover the secrets behind this message before it is too late.
The technique is amazing, with most mesmerizing textures and collages. I suspect there's a little bit of mixed media in there, and I would be super interested to know how the author has put their pages together!
-Tempest Red

What do you do when you're born into the most powerful, heartless family in existence? You do your best to survive.
Sephirisse, the perfect and brutal heiress to the throne of the super-power, House Tasnha, is caught up in a world far deeper than the "basic politics" that she was trained for... FAR deeper.
The author's watercolor skills are breathtaking! Sor far, the story is thrilling, as dark and beautiful as those gorgeous painted pages.
-Supermassive Black Hole A x

A true master of colours for an intriguing SciFi story
here's my own comic too:
-Tales of the Lost Souls

« At the beginning, there was the Witch
And the Witch laughed, and she cursed them all
Let their soul bleed, let their flesh bleed,
Let them tear themselves apart.»
Again, please do not hesitate to share here all the traditionnaly-painted comics you may know of!
