I've swore off tumble sadly and had since moved elsewhere like Twitter. Not to say tumblr sucks now l, I just think the flag not could prove problematic.

I attempted to use tumblr, and eugh it didn't go so well for me, and it just didn't seem practical in my particular case. I didn't exactly like how it was set up, nor could I even figure out how to use it right, like yeah I know HTML and CSS but like actually applying the code to the blog I had wouldn't work how I programmed it (and mind you I tested my program outside of tumblr and it worked fine, and just seeing that specific problem just made me not want to fuck around with it any further). All that combined with just simply no one but bots actually looking at my shit, just came to the conclusion that it just wasn't the site for me. So no, I don't use it.

i overhauled my tumblr for my comic, specifically incase i get NSFW fanart... NOPE i ditched it the moment they announced the purge

We have a tumblr! In fact, that's where we started posting about our comics. : ) We focus on LGBT+ stories, and since there's a big LGBT+ community on tumblr, it ended up being a good avenue.

We post a lot of "extra content" here, like standalone pictures of the characters, minicomics, and images of characters from comics or projects we aren't actively working on here. I don't read webcomics there, tumblr isn't the best for posting sequential art like that. I've tried to set up things there and it just isn't that good.

However, I think it's a great place for interacting with people/fans and posting things that are of interest but that aren't comics (aka, things we can't really post on tapas.)

Ah, Tumblr. I used to use it religiously. I've met so many of my online friends through there. Even ended up meeting quite a few of them irl. I tapered off my usage when Yahoo bought them and basically drove Tumblr to the ground. And with the whole NSFW ban fiasco, I've basically stopped using it. I know there's still loads of NSFW stuff on the site, ppl working around it, and lot's of great content on there but meh. It's just not the same to me anymore. It'll always have a special place in my heart though ️

I use my Tumblr all the time. Honestly, once you get the right community set up and find the right blogs to follow it becomes probably the best social media site out there (in my opinion). Like others have said your mileage may vary, but it seems the people that stayed behind after all the BS ended up forming a nice community.

I used to back in 2011-2015 or 2016 but I don't use it as much anymore and miss using it tbh...but like...no one I know or used to know or followed uses it anymore either so my feed is pretty much dead over there

I mostly use it to look at other people's stuff and reblog art. I never felt I could get any traction with my own art tho.

I used it prolifically about five years ago, but I never achieved much of an audience there. It was a great place for fandom and fanartists. Not so much for people making original content. Now it's really died off, I barely touch it anymore.

I'm curious to see whether Pillowfort will be able to soak up a large portion of Tumblr's audience. They're moving to open registrations tomorrow. (25th.)

I only reblog stuff though, of my fandoms HSKDJDKD and random things too.
