@Mangocado
I couldn't listen to it, it's blocked in my region?? I'll try to find it in a bit and check it out! Here's a link for people to check it out:
The vocalist reminds me of Aquilo! It's like a mix of their music and Copeland! Both of which have made records that I've fallen in love with.. so, fantastic stuff here!!
@UniversalChaos
I listen to electronic music now and then but nothing with vocals, so this was a welcome addition! It's almost hypnotizing with the main hook of the song! 8/10 would listen to again, video's weird though xD
@Azifri
Ooh, folk metal. definitely don't give this genre enough chances. I always have this idea that it's super cheesy, and now I feel like.. well, there's still cheese, but not as much as I thought, so that's something! I like the folk part more than the metal here tbh, can't vibe with the man's vocals, but game recognize game, I respect his work~
@kainatarma
Always fun to see a metal band from a country I would never expect! I enjoyed it, it's catchy, I can rock with it~
And you bring up an interesting point about labeling folk metal music and expecting only European bands, I wanna see more bands messing around with their roots to make a new sound for the genre, I'd like to see some Korean, South African, Mexican, etc.. folk metal stuff~ Hell, extending that to other genres besides metal would be cool too!
@vothnthorvaldson
We don't have to stay in metal xD But before I listen to the song, I gotta say that cover art is beautiful
Trumpets and a timpani??? NANI?! I like the violin here, very prevalent.. as it should be, with a title like that! OH- I believe I heard a mandolin at 1:50?? It's got dynamic contrast, you got intense parts and then you got equally calm parts. At roughly 2:30, it hits this fast pace like a ska band???? What genre is this? All in all a solid song, and a little research tells me that the artist is from Israel, another place I'd never expect to hear metal from!
So.. Yeah, good stuff all around!
