There's no way that wasn't expired or gone bad. I have never heard of a sour cream puff, maybe she filled it with sour cream lol

vanilla extract
My brother tricked me when I was young

Goat cheese... I love cheese but there's something about the taste of goat cheese that makes me nauseous instantly. And I have emetophobia.
Also the weird squishy jelly like insides of a tomato. The texture makes me gag, I actually can't swallow it.
I also hate anything fish or seafood related because fish used to make me throw up but I'm vegetarian anyway so that never comes up. Even if I wasn't though, I don't think I'd ever eat any raw fish or meat because of my phobia.
Besides that I don't really have any strong food aversions... I once put way too much salt on an eggplant (the recipe told me to extract the moisture with salt I think and I forgot to rinse them... :skull:)
Never ate any creepy crawly things luckily and I'm not going to say anything else about that so as not to jinx it.

Oh my, same. I despise goaat cheese. It tastes....sour? Ugh. The taste just makes me feel nauseous

Omg I thought I was the only one! I don't even know what it is, it's just vile. And the taste lingers too :sob:

Its just a taste that seems to never come out of my mouth!!! My family thinnks im absolutely mad for hating it.

So does everyone I know lol. They don't get how intense and disgusting even the smallest amounts of goat cheese taste to me... Maybe it's a genetic thing like how cilantro tastes like soap to some people?

Weirdest: I once ate those cooked snails - they tasted... odd but also it was the kind of taste you'd kinda expect from a snail?. The kind of taste you'd associate with the word "wet". The texture was weird too.

Grossest: Brussel Sprouts. Nothing wrong with them as a food, they're just so MUSHY.

@Eiranyx I've eaten cow tongue too! My mom likes it and used to make it once in a while.

I kinda want to try like, cooked insects one day but idk if there is anything like that available at my location haha.

Same, cilantro is great and I feel sorry for everyone with that gene.
I acrually Googled it and apparently it's because of several factors, such as goat milk going bad more quickly, bucks and does living together, the cheese being poor quality... But idk I'm not convinced. The taste might be less overwhelming when it's milder but it's still there and it's still gross.

Pro tip, folks: If your Brussels sprouts are mushy, you're cooking them wrong. Cut them in half, peel off the dark outer leaves, and pan sear them with butter and garlic until the edges are browned and crispy.

This won't stop people who well and truly hate Brussels sprouts from hating Brussels sprouts, but it might save someone who's simply had them prepared badly.

Can confirm. The wife and I eat brussel sprouts at least once a week. A little bit of char on brussel sprouts cooked with onions, balsamic vinegar, and sausage is just delicious.
(Which anyone who knows me would be surprised because I hate most vegetables with the fire of 10,000 burning suns.)

I used to think vanilla extract tasted good because of the smell. I was helping make cookies and I just drank a teaspoon of the liquid. Wasn't that good, wasn't that bad. But 10/10 would not try it again.

The breading of the cream puff is not always super sweet. To me it taste really eggy, which I can understand why it might turn people off. I think the sweetness in the cream or icing is suppose to help mask the taste.

I am personally not a fan of cream puffs.

Eating an apple with a worm in it is like one of my worst food fears. That, and drinking one of those Kool-Aid pouches and finding a worm or another, possibly grosser creature hanging around in it. Makes me cringe so hard

Yea I've heard that bit of advice. Last time I had them I was like in my teens so mom was doing the cooking. My mom just, doesn't fry anything almost at all, because she believes it's harmful or something.. since then i had like some health issues that prevent me from eating most vegetables (ends up with excruciating pain) so I don't want to risk it.
